First of all I think the game is great. But the game also has some flaws that made it worse than the usual Zelda game. I hope that this is not the case because Miyamoto wasn't the last Quality Check

I hope enough people express that they don't like it. AI is ruining art as a cultural good. at least If it's used like this.

@rushiosan Maybe that Tracer company has an automated way so they don't have to do anything manually, everything else would make no sense.

I think your not right and your not wrong.
So the thing is, the AI needs to be feed with images of Mario to be able to create Mario images or even knows who Mario is.
This is where you can bring up copyright claims.
Also consider this: in general Fan Art is valid if you have put enough own artistic effort into it. But this cannot be the case with AI art so it's copyright infringement.

I think they didn't mention if they have the click on the analog L and R buttons.
Those are supper important, games like Rogue Leader are impossible to play without having the half way click of the shoulder buttons.

I'm so mixed on this game. The Backgrounds look great but the characters look far to much like furries for my taste.
I love Crash and I love DK but the game looks too close like those games... I mean it's not "inspired" by those games it's really very much those two games, even some perspectives in the 3d areas are exactly the same...
And I think the name Nikoderiko is just weird...
Ahhh I don't know, maybe if the reviews are great I buy it.

I'll wait for a physical release (yes there is a japanese one but as long as I don't know if there is english on the cartridge I won't order, also it's very expansive to order from japan)

I'm also a fan of them.
I usually buy standartd editions there and I think from all I bought (about 20-30) just maybe 2 or 3 had no booklet inside.
Their products mostly feel very valuable and well made. I don't care that much, that I need to wait quite a while to get a game from them.

no physical version in EU as far as I know so I'll either pass or import

a monster hunter game is coming anyway to the switch so for that reason I didn't pick Monster Hunter...
So Elden Ring or Baldurs Gate both work for me.

i was already a bit surprised that the developer released this so quickly after his last game, so now I know why he was that fast.

if the port is well made its a day one Switch purchase for me. maybe until then they announce a version for switch 2

Just look at the shoes, they both look very different. thats something AI does all the time.

Then look at the her ear on the back side, what is this weird element that covers that ear half way through?

There are more elements, sadly I cannot post screenshots here other wise I would make it more evident.

Also check out her ingame Avatar, look at it closely, it looks very different to the main artwork. different cloths etc. like you would tell an AI to make another image just with the same prompts

the key artwork looks very much like AI created... there are several indicators for it... many inconsistencies that make no sense. why does her shoe just have a ribon on one side?
Whats the element coming from the back of her hat. and so on.
90% sure its a cheap AI created Key art and if the Key art is crappy made AI, I don't want to know whats the rest of the game.

Holy Moly! this is awesome... I'm still waiting for the Time Splitters Remasters from Embracer but this is awesome too.

@batmanbud2 I guarantee you they are going to shut down Splatoon 3 servers one day. Then Splatoon 3 is dead, I will never go back to play the singleplayer in Splatoon Games. They are not bad but also not good enough to stand out.

I liked the first one, it had a great positive atmosphere.
The second one looks like the first one just more refined which is a great thing, and coop also sounds great to my ears.

but the reason for that is the indie world team at NoA. they pick those always the same games ander other cool games come into the sizzle real or are not picked at all

@MSaturn I highly doubt that those patches are on the cartridge. its actually quite impossible. maybe if they do a reprint later (i mean if they do at all).

sounds great, my only issue is that all those nice patches won't be on the physical version... i hope a little for a reprint later with all the patches applied

I expected more to be honest... I think so far only the ?-block set is great from all the lego nintendo sets... Animal crossing was disappointing and the mario and donkey konf sets might be innovative but I dislike the figures and that the sets alwayw look modular

it's so sad to see what star wars has become (except of andor ofc).

@Papasears1982 2D-HD is a lot more complicated to do. the game looks like they use RPG Maker which not even supports 3D as far as I know.

online multiplayer is very difficult to do. My guess is that this is not doable for a small studio that has not much experience in game developing.

i think the poor numbers of the last game had nothing to do with the strategy. the and the character writing was just super bad and the character design was very special too...
Thats all. if they do better character design and writing, the numbers will be back on three houses level

even if they fix it, it won't be on the cartridge, which sucks. I prefer delaying the physical version and making it a finished version

This is always so fascinating. I'm working as a graphic artist for over 10 years now and sometimes I'm very sure people would pick a certain option and then it turns out it's exactly the opposite...
