haha all those third party companies laugh about how easy it is to get free Advertisement on the biggest Nintendo website. just make a fake mockup and tell everyone it's the real thing. why should those companies have information like this so long before the actual thing is coming out? it makes no sense

@superdad64 no one cares about the censorship of the game. it doesn't change the experience at all. it's all in your mind.
I'm also not a fan of censorship but you also have to be realistic.

I'm not surprised. the game is very outdated and also didn't age very well. it has poorly written characters and dialogs, the story is almost not existent, it has far too high encounter rates and so on.
some hardcore rpg gamers are buying it early and thats it.

Event though I don't believe in it but they still have a february slot open for a game.
I guess we will see more Nintendo news after Black Friday.

I recently realized you have to be online to be able to start the first tomb raider trilogy. Since this is a no go for a singleplayer game, I will not buy this new one

i hope they are not connecting the games more.
I think it was fun with XC 1,2 and 3 but its enough... at a certain point it becomes a mess like resident evil.

2) most people play those crappy microtransaction 3d games like genshin impact without a bluetooth gamepad or a backbone.

They are going to be again switch emulators in some years, when the system is considered Retro and Nintendo doesn't care anymore, So I'm fine.

I don't have the game yet. it's in delivery.

That being said, I listen to IGNs Nintendo Voice Chat podcast regularly and I can say Logan (the reviewer) has usually a pretty good taste, so I think his review might have some points.

Also if you watched the Nintendo Life review on youtube you will see that Alex also didn't like the game a lot.

The thing is the last Mario & Luigi games had all a lot of issues with NPCs talking too much, with generic worlds etc... and it seems like it's the case here too.

Yeah great instead of promoting this great game, people in the internet complain about it so that other people not buy it because they think something important was censored...

@PluckyRicky there are many good games that don't sell and there are many crap games like choo choo charles that sell extremely well.

games are in most cases not a well fitting medium for story telling.
Most games have poor writing and when you try to make a game more story heavy, it will lose what makes it a game in the first place, the interactivity

Assassins Creed was always fiction even though it had some real historical elements in it.

@Tobiaku I'm not pro Ubisoft and I see myself very centered in political things but man I consider 99% of the mob hating ubisoft for AC Shadows to be exactly toxic gamer talk. I really don't understand why people do not accept that Assassin's Creed is fiction and not reality and fictions comes with some artistic freedom. You don't have to like it and you don't have to buy it.

uibsoft games just too often feel like products and not like a piece of art. very formulaic design in almost all their games. thats also the reason I stopper playing mario + rabbids 2.
just compare those games with stuff like beyond good and evil, prince of persia (ps2 gen) or splinter cell 3. all those games are master pieces... and all of them came without weird preorder bonuses, Microtransactions, bugs, online instalation and they are fully on the disc.

I feel a little burned on shredders revenge. I ordered it on limited run a while ago and after that several other versions came out that are more completet...

First of all I think the game is great. But the game also has some flaws that made it worse than the usual Zelda game. I hope that this is not the case because Miyamoto wasn't the last Quality Check

I hope enough people express that they don't like it. AI is ruining art as a cultural good. at least If it's used like this.

@rushiosan Maybe that Tracer company has an automated way so they don't have to do anything manually, everything else would make no sense.

I think your not right and your not wrong.
So the thing is, the AI needs to be feed with images of Mario to be able to create Mario images or even knows who Mario is.
This is where you can bring up copyright claims.
Also consider this: in general Fan Art is valid if you have put enough own artistic effort into it. But this cannot be the case with AI art so it's copyright infringement.

I think they didn't mention if they have the click on the analog L and R buttons.
Those are supper important, games like Rogue Leader are impossible to play without having the half way click of the shoulder buttons.

I'm so mixed on this game. The Backgrounds look great but the characters look far to much like furries for my taste.
I love Crash and I love DK but the game looks too close like those games... I mean it's not "inspired" by those games it's really very much those two games, even some perspectives in the 3d areas are exactly the same...
And I think the name Nikoderiko is just weird...
Ahhh I don't know, maybe if the reviews are great I buy it.

I'll wait for a physical release (yes there is a japanese one but as long as I don't know if there is english on the cartridge I won't order, also it's very expansive to order from japan)

I'm also a fan of them.
I usually buy standartd editions there and I think from all I bought (about 20-30) just maybe 2 or 3 had no booklet inside.
Their products mostly feel very valuable and well made. I don't care that much, that I need to wait quite a while to get a game from them.

no physical version in EU as far as I know so I'll either pass or import

a monster hunter game is coming anyway to the switch so for that reason I didn't pick Monster Hunter...
So Elden Ring or Baldurs Gate both work for me.

i was already a bit surprised that the developer released this so quickly after his last game, so now I know why he was that fast.

if the port is well made its a day one Switch purchase for me. maybe until then they announce a version for switch 2
