Re: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom amiibo Goes Live On Amazon UK, Pre-Order Now

Shame NL never reported availability from Nintendo Store UK at just £12.99 with free delivery ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯

I ordered on the 13th which was when it became available for anyone to order, after initially only being available for people who had previously "registered their interest" when that was a option.

I don't know whether it is still available now as it has a lifetime limit of 1 per customer so appears unavailable to anyone who has already ordered.

@hylianticipated Also - that £29.99 crossed-out price is BS. The RRP is £21.99. #Scamazon

Did you see how much they were charging for the TotK Amiibo ? ~£30 🤑 Do you think they will make it available again at a lower/reasonable price before release so the people who already ordered will pay that lower price ("Pre-Order Price Guarantee") ? Of course not 🤡 #Scamazon

Re: Nintendo Expands Switch Online's GBA Library With Another Classic Title

@LinktotheFuture Ah I see Sorry if my previous comment came across as argumentative! 😅

To be fair I was surprised when I found out Dread was officially called Metroid 5, I was like "What about the Prime games!?".

Then I guess I realised they just wanted to keep the (2D) Metroid games as their own thing, kinda separated but sharing all the same everything with the Prime games

Remember there have also been Prime spinoff/sub games. Prime Hunters on DS and Prime Federation Force on 3DS

So just think of it as Metroid = the 2D games and Metroid Prime = the 3D games

Re: Nintendo Expands Switch Online's GBA Library With Another Classic Title

@LinktotheFuture I didn't say Prime games are spinoffs, nor did I say they are not mainline games, I just said they are clearly their own series, being numbered as they are, separately from the numbered 2D Metroid games.

I definitely consider Prime games mainline, it's just that they are numbered separately from 2D Metroid games.

Re: Where To Pre-Order The Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom On Switch

@TLink9 @LocalPenguin £70/€80 would actually be the equivalent of US$85. But saying that, it is important to remember that in the UK and other European countries, sales tax in already factored into sales prices. So with that in mind the UK price of £59.99 - tax (20%) = £49.99, which exchanges to around US$60. So seeing as sales tax isn't already included in US prices, it seems the new US$69.99 price for TotK is OTT 🧐 But then again BotW and SSBU have always had a higher price compared to all other full-priced first party Nintendo Switch games, which has never been the case in US. I guess Nintendo just decided that US should now have a higher premium price like other countries

Re: Where To Pre-Order The Nintendo Switch Lite Blue

That Amazon saving price is BS
"Nintendo Switch Lite - Blue + Switch Online 12 Months" with "£227.98" crossed out and "£216.99" price offered, inferring a £10.99 saving.

It should state £217.98 is the standard price and the saving is 99p
