@bojackson if you have a user profile with its account set to japan logged-in on a console then you will always be seeing news articles for that region. the only way to stop it is to remove that user profile from the console or to change that user profile accounts country to a different region via https://accounts.nintendo.com/profile/edit

fyi you only need an account set to japan to initially download the japanese nso nintendo classics apps. after that you can play them using a user profile with its account set to any region 🙂

do i recall seeing an article stating the Virtual Boy Nintendo Classics games can be played without a headset ?

yeh it seems really good value, according to dekudeals the cheapest they've ever been on eShop is £8.99 for the 1st bundle, and £9.89 for the 2nd bundle. so that's £18.88 combined

Capcom just recently released a Capcom Arcade Stadium & Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium Bundle 'Code in Box' version. Argos (UK) has it available for £12.99 which seems a really good price for both 😁👍 it contains 2 download codes, one for each bundle.

Argos is now doing the Mario Kart bundle for £30 off at £399.99. They usually now copy Amazon, so the price is probably also there.

support the retailers who originate offers. Amazon is a retailer killer. literally

this is all unnecessary if the old console was never updated to the Virtual Game Card system software.

when setting up a Switch 2 you simply select the option "i no longer have this console". then there are no problems.

@CaptChaos this is actually the 1st NS2E first-party game where the base game is standard price-tier (£49.99 RRP), which doesn't have additional "+DLC" content included with the Upgrade Pack (as seen with Mario Party Jamboree & Kirby Forgotten Land, which bumped their NS2E price up further).

both Zelda games are higher price-tier base games (£59.99 RRP).

yes it seems Mario Galaxy + Mario Galaxy 2 is a higher price-tier game (£58.99 RRP), but it is available from various retailers for ~£49.99 👍

but remember that NS2E cartridge games do also work in original Switch consoles. so you can buy the NS2E physical game and play it on S2 consoles & original Switch consoles [without S2 upgrades]
