how is it @NintendoLife have completely failed to mention the utterly ridiculous price ? £59.99 ??? how absolutely absurd. last 3rd party game i remember launching at a ridiculous price was Sonic Superstars @ £54.99 iirc . . . that pricing strategy did not go well for Sega . .

release date for the Super Mario Bros Wonder bundle is 24th October

absolutely ridiculous. Nintendo should have built in ways of identifying where a leaked game has come from and come down hard on it

every Black Friday period they release a special bundle, but the game has always been Mario Kart. last year for the first time it was the OLED model. it's nice that they are going to change the game 🙂

@Big_Fudge i didn't say it was "way lower" ! 😂 lol. i honestly don't know what to say about barely anyone wanting NSO+ 🤔 i for one really enjoy it. i'm sure many others do too. so it's a welcome thing. certainly being NSO+ instead of standard NSO (which is all they mentioned in the Direct) was a nice surprise 🙂

actually it's only £10 more RRP than regular Switch Lite RRP. which is the same difference between Switch OLED and Switch OLED Special Editions . . .

allbeit the Switch Lite Aloha Edition did come with Animal Crossing New Horizons game pre-installed for the same price as the regular Switch Lite 🙂

@Big_Fudge Special Edition consoles including the game are gone now. gives the customer the choice of what format they buy the game in: digital/physical [/collector's edition (if one exists)]. console price can be lower than what it would be if it included the game. makes way more sense

@Big_Fudge i can understand that when the console is based on and named after a specific game, but this console does not do that - in fact there is no mention of the new Zelda game anywhere on the box 🙂 (not even the word Zelda)

for the Switch OLED tLoZ:TotK Special Edition console, here in the UK / Europe it was absolutely ridiculous how tiny and obscure the writing on the box was saying the game wasn't included (so tiny it could make you think it was done intentionally)

go look at the image of the UK/Euro box and see if you can see it. i know the American version made it fairly obvious and prominent

can usually always buy physical games much cheaper here in UK. yes i got TotK for around £48 at launch 🙂 there are also very often ways to pay even less by using discount codes / special promotions / discounted gift cards 🤑 😉

@WiltonRoots not completely different, no. Nintendo do have pricing tiers. Nintendo's US standard price tier is $59.99. UK standard price tier is £49.99.

lower price tier: US $49.99. UK £39.99

higher price tier: US $69.99. UK £59.99

US only started having a higher price tier with Tears Of The Kingdom, everywhere else has had a higher price tier since the Switch launch (March 2017) for Breath Of The Wild, and again for Super Smash Bros Ultimate (US has always had these games at their standard price tier 🧐)

i believe there is another game which is in the higher price tier but it's only available in Japan (it may be a Dragon Quest game ?)

there is an even lower price tier for Metroid Prime Remastered: US $39.99, UK £34.99.
i'm not sure if Nintendo have any other games at this price point

the whole issue over JK Rowling was a hate campaign pure and simple. anyone taking part was simply jumping on a bandwagon out of fear of receiving the same hate as her. such a sad situation. i honestly thought this was widely known now, meaning the hate campaign movement is quashed FAIAP

i really hope @NintendoLife look into the situation further so they may see this for themselves. and hopefully reconsider what is now considered by many to be a very questionable position to maintain

I want to be able to change the controls in N64 NSO. Currently X is C-Down, but I want to be able to change X to be C-Right (alongside Y which is C-Left), so I can use it for strafing in Perfect Dark & GoldenEye
