GAME had Forspoken as one of the free game options with the console (£399.99), Saints Row was another one of the options. These were also included in their £299.99 console trade-in offer (£299.99 was the price when trading-in a PS4 Slim 500GB or Xbox One S 500GB/1TB. Other console trade-in prices varied).

Currys had Lego Star Wars for free with PS5 (£399), they also had + Forspoken for £409, or + Miles Morales for £419, or + Gran Turismo for £429. So that could perhaps be why those games are also in the chart.

@Aelynn it's because Forspoken was one of the free/bundled PS5 console + game options from multiple retailers during the promotion.

@BenMCR as far as I know Nintendo still don't reveal eShop sales numbers, so they're not included in these charts.

@Tyranexx yes the Pokémon Sword / Shield + Expansion Pass physical release was a limited time release. Like the Breath of the Wild + Expansion Pass physical release (which I believe was only released in Japan)

The cardboard effect looks cool on the back and sides of the dock, but I don't think the console or joy-con have it? So it just looks a gross plain light-brown colour 🤢 No thanks

@wiiware the offer here is from a UK retailer, and as far as I know they only accept GBP.

@Skunkfish oh don't mention gig tickets. Someone close to me had been saying how much they want to see Foo Fighters live, I heard tickets were about to go on sale in a couple of days and sent them the link to the official site to buy tickets when they go on sale, for some reason (not the most internet savvy person) they just googled it and ended up on a resellers site where they paid over double the price 🤬

Upgrade previously released games to make use of new hardware's features, and resell.

Full backwards compatibility and purchase library retention would of course be nice, but they aren't obligated to provide that. Though I imagine it would generate quite a backlash if they didn't.

Seeing as they've made their Virtual Console games into a subscription service, that should be fairly easy to carry forward I would think.

Like I said I noticed it in stock around a week or 2 ago (meaning the stock was not being scalped, likely as it hadn't been picked up on and reported on). I decided best not to share it in anyway, why perpetuate the problem

Justin.tv was all movies and TV show streaming, obviously that wasn't ok, they then went to video games only and renamed to Twitch.tv, but how is that not still sharing something which a company has produced to sell to people ?

Sure, could be argued that video games are all about playing it yourself, but they also include a story, cinematic cutscenes, music ...

AFAICT the farthest ahead timezone in the Nintendo account country list is New Zealand with Time zone (UTC+12:45) Pacific/Chatham.

If you only want digital you could've bought the Game Vouchers from the Japanese eShop for less than £60 (¥9,980) with 5% of that coming back to you in points
