This is hilarious. When Persona 6 comes out we'll all have to wait for the proper version. Atlus needs to stop doing this and release finished games. Still buying this though since I don't have the original. Am I encouraging this behavior? Probably.
@Isaix I do. Plenty of far more controversial games release every single day and no one raises an eyebrow. Nintendo has published games like Bayonetta and people loved it.
Honestly, nothing really. I've kind of given up on Fire Emblem Engage, I was sort of enjoying it initially but it's starting to drive me a little crazy. Amnesia. Dead parent. Chosen one. Ancient Evil. Travel the 4 kingdoms. I did manage to finish off Trails in the Sky SC. It's so funny how no matter how boring a Trails game can get, it seems the endings always justify them somehow. It was so damn good... I'll play The 3rd eventually. In the mean time though, I might buy Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition. I loved 3, so I'll probably like it.
@SalvorHardin Personally I believe the Nintendo Switch is fine where it's at, if a bit underpowered. But it's more like an alternative to PlayStation. PS5 is almost the exact same as PS4. There's a reason why many PS5 games still release on it, not many games need that power. And the ones that do are simply too ambitious for their own good.
I played a little bit of Fire Emblem Engage. I still like it, but the story is probably the most boring thing ever. It feels fleshed out like they want you to care, but there's nothing to like. On the other hand, I quit Trails in the Sky SC a little while ago but I'm back now. I believe I'm very close to the end. There's a ton of things to enjoy in this game, but it is definitely very overrated. Chapter 8 was genuinely disrespectful of your time. Travelling around Liberl for 3RD TIME?!
I think what really frustrates me about this, is what Fortnite has become. I've never actually played it, but respected it for what it was. It was a simple yet fun looking online shooter for kids. It's genuinely like a corporate, dystopian Roblox "we have every game" knockoff now with every conceivable brand in it you could imagine. What the HELL happened?!
Fire Emblem Engage. This is my first game in the series, and I understand it's not a fan favourite, but I like it. The story is very lackluster and some of the characters are probably even shallower than a puddle, but I think this game expects you to play things at your own pace. If you do the side content, play on casual, and actually explore the Somniel I think you'll enjoy it. Almost reminds me of Animal Crossing weirdly. The gameplay itself fantastic though.
I wonder why kids games are still being released on every platform under the sun. Bluey: The Videogame having 90% of its sales on Switch is certainly not a surprise.
Nintendo Life: I don't like Palworld that much! Nintendo Life:
So recently I kinda dropped Trails in the Sky SC at Chapter 7. Honestly not as good as everyone says. It took way too long to get interesting and I got burnt out by the time it did. So, instead I decided to play Fire Emblem Engage. It was a fun change of pace! I'll probably come back to Trails eventually.
Don't know if this is a controversial opinion or not, but is it just me or does this game feel very kiddy? Nothing wrong with that or people who want to play it, but it's just the vibe I get. Don't really feel the same with any of the other Mario games.
Honest question. How many people genuinely care about this happening? Like, it would affect how they're playing. I think there's probably 2 people playing the Wii U online day to day now.
I don’t know if this is a controversial opinion but I don’t think 3D is the only future or natural evolution of Kirby. Same goes for Donkey Kong or Yoshi. Hope to see a mix of 2D and 3D games…
@Paraka Good point. I could totally imagine this game becoming insanely popular maybe a week after it came out due to all the coverage, but I had genuinely never heard or seen this game by the time it already had a million players.
Trails in the Sky SC. I feel like I’ve learnt something new about this series. When it hits, it really hits. Like insanely good writing. When it doesn’t, it really doesn’t. I think I’ve developed a new mindset to play these games. Just wade through the boring bits because I just KNOW that I’ll see the light at the end of the tunnel eventually.
