I just rolled my saved game. I am currently in one of the airships. I have to say, the aliasing is cleaned up a bit as is the resolution. Frame rate is rock solid. The character models, especially Bruce, look sharper too.

Guess I need to boot it up...

I actually am waiting to pick up MINDSEYE on a sale. Played the demo/trial on PS5 and I threw on some Bond music and rolled. Had a lot of fun. The driving mechanics are solid.

This was my favorite S2 announcement of the show.

At least they offset the sticks. I am happy with my Satisfye Zen Grip 2. However, some classic Nintendo colorways would tempt me. The only reason I didn't get the GCN one for the original Switch was Alex's review of the button placement.

Even though the original title is based off JAWS: THE REVENGE, I love this game so much. I mean, you get to play as MICHAEL CAINE in the bonus stages!!!! Will definitely be getting this!!!

I was on the fence, but Leon showing up has me psyched.

Day 1..... FOR DEMOCRACY!!!! (right game, right??)

I have deliberately held off on Indy and Doom: The Dark Ages in hopes of Switch 2 ports. Indy being confirmed was a highlight of the Summer. I hope Doom is announced at The Game Awards!

Have held off on this as Ghost of Yotei will be my PS5 Samurai game this year. However, I really want something like this on my S2. I will definitely be downloading this once it's on sale.

Funds ready to go on my account! The countdown begins!!!

Kingdom battle was one of the first games I tried when I got my S2 and it runs at a smooth 60fps now. Not an official update, just the S2 doing it's thing.

I have this on PS4/5 and love it so. If I do double-dip it will definitely be during a sale as is my feeling on all GKC/digital releases. Looks like it's time to get AT LEAST a 256 EX Micro SD.

I liked the test. However, it was the racing that I liked the best. City Trial was neat, but seeing all of those power-up icons just made me think how much I want them to remaster KID ICARUS: UPRISING. This should have been a $50.00-$60.00 USD game, max. If I do ever pick it up if would have to be on a deep sale or used. I can't see myself paying more than $40.00 USD for this. In fact, the racing made me throw in MKW again last weekend and roll some Knockout Tour.

TBH the leak of filming with Zelda and Impa is what gave me hope. Impa looks straight out of OoT. Looks like we're getting a mix of BoTW and OoT in terms of anesthetic. Can't fault that.

I tried putting a pic of my cartridge, lol. That really sucks. I was so happy when they put out the physical. I sold my Xbox GOTY edition. I'm trying to get as many games physical, but I have a feeling the S2 is going to require such big installs for newer third-party titles that the majority will be download codes or Game Key-Cards. CD Projekt Red must have done some Nintendo-level compression to pack Cyberpunk 2077 onto that cart. Thing is, I rarely buy digital if it's not on sale. I have a feeling I will be waiting to get AC: SHADOWS for a bit because of this. I hope Indy is not a download, but I'm not holding my breath.... RDR2 will most definitely be download only, I fear.

Ummmm..... I own it. I have RDR physically for S1. On a cartridge. Don't know if it was only a NA release, but if it was you can definitely import it.

From what I understand no; or at least not yet. It sounds like the only physical version will be the vanilla S1 edition and then you can download the Switch 2 edition; like with NO MAN'S SKY. Conversely, you can just buy a digital version on S2. I have looked everywhere for any confirmation of a physical release and I can't find it.

I hope ARKHAM KNIGHT stops crashing. I was surprised to see DOOM 2016 on the progression issues list. I literally just completed a run on my S2 over Halloween season. No issues whatsoever.

I liked OTHER M so I'm ready for all of it!

I've been following this since it's launch onto Steam early access hoping for a Switch release (just like with thr original DEAD CELLS). Being a huge fan of DEAD CELLS and PoP, this is a insta-buy for me. Can't wait!

I'm worried about the 60fps mode. It's either one of two things. Either they were having issues getting it implemented properly on the S2 or they are going to charge some fee to unlock it with an S2 edition. Feel like I should still hold off on this one.

I completely agree. I thought GEARS and DOOM: THE DARK AGES would have already been announced. FORZA HORIZON would also be great. Hopefully we will see some announcements at The Game Awards next month.

I did a double take when I booted up Nintendo Voice Chat on YouTube this morning and saw our lovely Alex on the screen. Since NL has been my main online community since 2006, it was like seeing a family member on the show! My Yankee brethren treat him with the respect he deserves.

I have been happy for the most part with the announced 3rd Party titles. However, I would like to see more from Microsoft. I have a PS5, but have been waiting for announcements confirming Indy, DOOM: THE DARK AGES, GEARS OF WAR, and NINJA GAIDEN 4. So far only one of these is confirmed. Hopefully we will get some of these announced at The Game Awards this year.

Nintendo's play makes total sense to me. Give the fans a reason to keep playing, new Switch 1/2 owners a reason to buy/upgrade, and it will make it so Tomodatchi Life has a chance to make some sales before a new AC drops in 1 to 2 years. In Fall of 2027 release the Switch 2 Lite and a new AC at the same time.

I actually really liked the original Battle Arena Toshinden, so I am excited for this.

Can't lie, deep dives like this are neat. Sakurai loads his games with so much content, it's nice to k ow what we're getting. I really hope that KID ICARUS: UPRISING gets a remaster because that thing was packed and was a lot of fun. Actually really interested in this title and I never played the original!

I figured this would be a holiday season title when it was announced as a 2025 release. This is a day-1 for me as I will need it at the in-laws this Christmas!

Wish it was coming out this week, but the night before Halloween is cool.

I really got the impression this game will be packed with more modes including a full story-mode.

Not bad at all. Got it for $5.00 on PS4 and then a free PS5 upgrade, lol. But I do want to see how it fares on my S2.

The Konami collections have been a godsend. Having CONTRA, TMNT and CASTLEVANIA collections has made playing the 8-bit games easy to boot up. I also have a mini-retro player that has HDMI support and multiple retro-handheld. But, between collections like this and NSO, I rarely hook them up. Honestly, will probably pick up a new retro-handheld sometime soon and then will play most of them on there. Wish I had the $$$ to go full in on a Polymega. That's the ultimate goal. This way I can just dump my physical collections on it and be done.

I'm always torn by these sort of questions when it comes to RPGs (which I consider Pokemon to be). In the 90s you read the dialogue and it was like an interactive novel where the characters became your own depending on how you heard their voices in your head. Voice acting makes these games more cinematic and by extension more immersive as a world, but in the end it leaves less to the imagination and requires less from the player.

Woah. This hits super hard. Along with Suda 51, Itagaki-san was the one developer I always followed. The first Ninja Gaiden on XBOX is still my favorite action game of all time. I was there at launch for DEVIL'S THIRD and was so excited the E3 it was announced to be moving to WiiU. It had its issues, but I understood what he was trying to do. Too many game engine changes and not enough fine-tuning of the shooting mechanics really hurt it. However, my favorite multiplayer matches I've ever had were with that game. I was hoping to hear that something was coming out of Valhalla soon. This is incredibly sad news.

Great list. FLYNN, GIBBON, and NORTHGARD all spent some time on my Switch. I have just one question...... HOW THE HECK DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT DEATHWISH ENFORCERS!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

He finally got the new library. Hope is a great thing, maybe the best of things. I will keep hoping we get a KONAMI or SUNSOFT Batman collection. Honestly, SMASH TV should be an unlockable in the MK COLLECTION.

4-5 new AAA releases. About 20 digital titles a year.

So weird, I randomly put this on yesterday afternoon..... Inwas having my kids guess which games the songs originated from. You know, because I guess I'm that dad, lol.

I was just thinking about this. My only wish would be for the whole game to be on a cartridge, but there would have to be a crazy amount of compression wizardry!

Hopefully by Christmas at the latest. This feels like a cozy Fall/Winter Game. And by 'cozy' I mean the retro style. The game will be hardcore! Guess I'll go play the demo again to send good vibes and wishes to Yacht Club Games.

I was not impressed at all when playing the beta test. Maybe I will wait and give it a go on the S2. I have a PS5, but this would be for me. Don't think I can get the family to jump over. I did love TRANSFORMED quite a bit, so I would really like to give this one a chance. I am supporting SEGA's resurgence 100%.

I really want both for the 4K upgrades. However, $70.00 USD is just too much. And I can't bring myself to just download Galaxy 2 (as I have 3D All-Stars) for $40.00 USD. Going to hold out for a sale; maybe it will be $50.00 USD on Black Friday....
