Re: PSA: Switch 2's "GameChat Welcome Offer" Ends This Month, Try It Out For Free While You Still Can

UpsideDownRowlet

@-wc- Since people's Switches can have some NSO-active accounts and some NSO-inactive accounts, I think it's more likely that the C-Button will just continue to ask "Which User Wants to Use GameChat", but after you select a non-subscribing user then yeah, it'll ask you to go to the eShop, so technically not a direct-to-eShop button.

In any case you can just remap the C-Button to be a second screenshot button or anything else you want it to be if you aren't on NSO or don't want to use GameChat, so it's no big deal. The button is just a convenience for people who do use the feature, and there's nothing wrong with that.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (21st March)

UpsideDownRowlet

This weekend, I'll be playing:

Hollow Knight: Silksong
Currently exploring Act III. I want to defeat Garmond and finish finding 12 void masses before progressing the main plot.

Pokémon LeafGreen Version
Currently going through the Team Rocket base in Celadon City.

Mario Kart World and Kirby Air Riders
As per usual, I may do a few races and city trials here and there.

Re: Toby Fox Shares Another Deltarune Chapter 5 Development Update

@Tempestryke There are 7 chapters on the chapter select screen, though it's always possible that there is a fake-out 8th chapter.

That said, judging by dialogue from a certain character, and how the general progression of the story seems going, I suspect that Chapter 6 will be the game's normal ending, with Chapter 7 being the True/secret ending, likely only obtainable by collecting all of the ShadowCrystals.

Re: Community: Which Switch 1 Games Benefit Most From Switch 2's New Boost Mode?

UpsideDownRowlet

So far, I tried out Thousand-Year Door, Pokemon Legends Arceus, Breath of the Wild (not upgraded), Pokemon Shield, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Wavetale, Cuphead, and Smash Ultimate. Of these, Wonder and BOTW got the most noticeable improvements for me, though the rest of these games also are now looking much better (except Cuphead, which never looked very crunchy to begin with and looks indistinguishable from pre-Handheld Boost).

This update will make me want to revisit a bunch of my Switch games.
