Re: Reminder: Today's Your Last Day To Buy Switch Game Vouchers

UpsideDownRowlet

I am trying to rapidly play Tomodachi Life on my Modded 3DS to decide if I want to buy a voucher for TOTK and Living the Dream.

EDIT: The game is fine, though I can't say I'd get $50 worth out of Living the Dream. I never used vouchers since I was more of a physical diehard on Switch 1, and I suppose now I never will. I hope Nintendo replaces it with a better program (something like Nintendo Selects), but given their recent track record, I'm not getting my hopes up.

Re: Rumour: A Nintendo Direct May Be Coming As Soon As Next Week

I'm anticipating a Partner Showcase. We have enough titles to last us until the Summer, so a Direct before Spring probably isn't necessary.

I also wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo moves to a schedule of having 2 General Directs annually during the Switch 2's lifespan, with 1 in Late March/Early April and one in September.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (24th January)

Hollow Knight: Silksong
This is one of those games that just absolutely hooks me. I'll probably be spending most of my time on this game. Currently, I'm going around the map going to places I couldn't before now that I have the wall jump.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons
I'm trying to play this for just a brief amount of time daily. Yesterday, Nook's Cranny and Island Services were closed due to renovation, so I'm interested in seeing them reopen today.

Mario Kart World and Kirby Air Riders
As always, I'll probably play a few matches in either or both of these games.

Happy gaming everyone!

Re: Nintendo Producer Kensuke Tanabe Has Seemingly Confirmed His Retirement

@FrenchVaniIIuxe "You don't 'leave' a company immediately after a high-profile release that was contentious at best."

Why not? If Tanabe planned on retiring, why wouldn't he leave soon after finishing a major release? Besides, most people generally found that the game was serviceable, and that would hardly ever justify a producer with such an impactful legacy being fired.
