Re: Review: Hollow Knight: Silksong - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition - Woven To Brutal Perfection

I'm about 15 hours in and enjoying it but I know when I need to step away and do something else or play a game that's more "productive" than fighting the same boss 50 times.

And in reality it isn't even the actual bosses. It's the runbacks from the bench that add precisely zero to the game other than to compound the frustration. (in this and all games with the mechanic).

I like the NA one mostly because it is what I know. Both are pretty bad, though.

I remember the ad run in game magazine at the time featuring the lady showing..uh... different parts of her body and trying to wonder what the hell kind of game it was.

I feel like I'll get so much time and fun out of Mario Kart that I'm honestly not that bothered.

This hobby has always been on the expensive side and the writing has been on the wall for a while that game prices were headed this way.

I don't like it, but I'm also not exactly outraged. Again, they can choose their price on a game by game basis and I'll choose what I want to play or feel is worth it.

@PikaPhantom i ended up buying it last night (and the lag is indeed noticeable but not unplayable) I tried messing with the filters today and I think any of the "no scan" settings maybe do make it feel at least a slight bit better.

I'll try the widescreen 1080 setting next time I try and see if it is even better. Would be kind of a shame since I love the way it looks in 240 4:3 with the first filter.
