I've never had any issues with LRG. I guess I could understand how some people dislike how they operate, but in general I think they are doing some cool stuff.

I've always buy sporadically and purely based on the feeling of "oooh, it'd be nice to have a physical copy of that" (and also willing to wait the long production time) when it hits me.

I am a bit of a collector or I wouldn't be bothering obviously, but I don't consider them investments. Nor am I interested in their absurd large collector's editions. I buy to play.

I guess I'll just assume a fantastic game got a little more fantastic.

In Other Waters was my GOTY when I played it on Switch. Cannot believe how engrossed in it I was, so based on the strength of that I'm all in on this. What a beautiful trailer.

Golf Story was pretty funny.

It still remains wild they haven't done something COD for the Switch. This would make sense. New old game or not I think it would do very well.

I shall drag myself out tomorrow at some point and get myself a copy. Can't pass up on some Kirb.

Would be near or at the top for 3DS games in my opinion. The control scheme almost immediately clicked for me and was incredibly precise. The game feels so "big" for a 3DS title, too. It was/is truly impressive. I want so badly a sequel but would gladly settle for a Switch remake/remaster.

I get that people really wanted them, but for me personally I don't really play enough games at the same time to really warrant that level of organization. Like, my library is pretty large after all these years, but I don't feel a burning desire to have to sort it all if I'm not even really looking at it or navigating it.

That said, I can see an option to make the home menu default to the group page being nice.

I tried the lite version for ten minutes and that was enough for me. Saved me some money. Still a shame given that I'm always up for a good kart racer than isn't Mario Kart. This just ain't it.

I tried the lite version and I don't think I've ever gone from excited about a new kart racer to absolutely zero interest so fast. The overwhelming amount of BS that pops up at you on the main menu (currency, events, whatever else) was almost as bad as the music that was playing and the pointless and poorly designed tutorial was really something. Thanks for saving me some money, I guess.

Technically not day one since my Amazon order is delayed, but that's okay. Going to use the few days to finish up some other stuff.

Looks about the same as the Final Fantasy remasters. So yeah. The framerate in the trailer is perhaps the most questionable part, though. It's been way too long since I've played it (and even then it was only briefly) so I can't tell how it compares, though.

Either way. I'm excited to get to give it a proper go, finally. After all these years.

Imagine if Nintendo just got with it and made all their soundtracks widely available? that would be some weird, wild stuff.

Star Fox 64 may well be my fav N64 game and is absolutely in my top 10 all time for me. It's just so endlessly replayable. I've so many memories of it during the summer it released. Trying to get every medal, see every route and all the other details you could miss made it super addicting.

All these years later on Switch Online I'm doing it again, and it still RULES. I'm not quite as good as I was, but I'm getting there.

Absolutely go and buy it if you have even a remote interest in arcade racers. It's so fun and dumb in the best way.

I'm not sure I feel the need to back it on kickstarter, but I'll play it when it comes out.

innnnnteresting. I love alternative history stuff and walking sims so this is right up my alley.

Excitebots (because the world needs more racing games with tambourine powerups), The Last Story (because I never finished it) and Sin and Punishment 2 (because it is amazing).

I've not played the game (ever) but that does look larger than it needs to be. Just the text itself would be fine, I'd think.

Hmm. I snagged one from the second batch just because I couldn't help myself. Have yet to pay for the expansion, and I'm not sure if I will, for the time being.

I really enjoyed it at the time and liked how different it felt. I always took it as just another take on the character and so never felt any of the "NOT MY SAMUS/METROID" stuff.

That said, I haven't played it or really thought too much about it since that time and certainly don't recall a lot of the details so I wouldn't bother arguing with someone who hates it.

It's higher than I expected, but isn't a deal breaker. The real key to keeping it worth it will be if they actually add more "hard to get" games with any frequency. Like licensed stuff, etc.

I've spent 95% of my docked time on the Switch with joy cons. I thought I'd miss the D-pad but it turns out I kind of just don't. I think the short stick makes them feel fine with 2D games. I beat cuphead no problem, despite my friend thinking I was a madman.

I don't know. It is my preferred way to play. I just love the split control design and wish there were more options for the other consoles. Though I would agree they aren't perfect.

Good! it's a small, silly thing, sure, but I've had cables in the past that were waaaay too stiff and chunky feeling. I think the one with the Switch is fine, but softer is always better.

A far cry from Iwata's fantastic Wii U unboxing, but I'll take it.

It is a simple thing, but I always really enjoy when there's some art on the inside of the case. I know most (all?) first party games do it, but some others do too. This looks slick.

Winback is better than Yoshi's Story. Yeah. I said it!

Despite its age, I truly believe Mario Kart 8 is still one of the best looking. There's just something about it and the mix of 60fps that makes it quite stunning.

Only ever played the first one on the Cube when it came out. Was some silly fun. I'm intrigued.

I fell off the first and I'm not entirely sure why. I was rather enjoying it. I think it just got lost in the shuffle. This news and a certain other game have made me want to jump back in/start it over again.

My Amazon copy is taking the long route, but yeah. Absolutely in.

It looks "nice" because it's new, but also just feels like too much going on for my taste. The current UI may be boring or whatever, but it's fast and works and I'm completely okay with it.
