Fantastic article. In my early teen years I spent so much time (remember free time!?) glued to both games, but I distinctly remember X just feeling so absolutely perfect that I often give it the nod in terms of what I like better, but GX is also as close to perfect as you can get, so I don't think I could ever actively choose.

@YANDMAN agreed. I was excited when it came out on the Xbone and bought it instantly...and was rather disappointed in it. Just feels kinda souless especially compared to the others. The CONSTANT chatter from characters really got on my nerves as well. I'm trying to explode stuff. I don't really care bout all this gobbledygook! certainly not completely awful, but there are better options on the Switch.

Of course it is! I'm only mildly interested in the game, but it being on the Switch goes a long way to making me want to try it. I hope we see some Switch footage sooner rather than later.

Since they'll never translate Seiken Densetsu 3, I hereby declare they should just give us Secret of Evermore in its place. Would buy.

Played this at a friends house once and it was really fun. Always meant to buy it, and now I can have it on the Switch! exactly the type of game I've been in the mood for, too. Super cool.

I hope this comes out here. I love "fun" stylized fishing games. A port of Fishing Resort (Wii) is still a Switch game I really, really want. Also I love the super excited reaction shots of all the people in this trailer. FISHING!

I have grey from launch and then the neon yellow. It is hard to explain just HOW bright they are until you see them in person. Pretty brilliant. I love them.

@redd214 yes. If the next console isn't "Switch 2" I'm going to be incredibly disappointed. At least initially. I just want them to stick to this concept because it works so damn well.

I honestly had no idea there was even a story mode. I was set to pay full price for that arcade goodness. Maybe I can just consider the other mode a bonus, and hope they change it up a bit.

This looks and sounds incredible to me. I will Ape Out day one.
