I've seen a few videos of the game on other systems and it does look intriguing though. Maybe I finally give it a go on Switch if it i a decent port.

I really enjoyed the demo, so I'm all in for checking it out myself. Seems like a lovely little game to visit in between all these other more involved games.

I have no interest in early access games these days, so I'll wait for the Switch version, but I'm glad this is out there for people and is being well received.

I only played Mothmen so far, but it was a real stylish and fun game with great atmosphere. Might grab this to play the others.

@PikaPhantom i ended up buying it last night (and the lag is indeed noticeable but not unplayable) I tried messing with the filters today and I think any of the "no scan" settings maybe do make it feel at least a slight bit better.

I'll try the widescreen 1080 setting next time I try and see if it is even better. Would be kind of a shame since I love the way it looks in 240 4:3 with the first filter.

I've been curious about this one. The N64 aesthetic looks particularly nailed here.

I'm nervous about the mentioned input lag issues, though. That stuff can be game ruining for me. Might take a shot anyway or hope for an eventual patch.

Absolutely. Day whenever Amazon ships my copy. Love the series and some chilled exploration and such is exactly what I'm in the mood for right now.

@WhiteTrashGuy oh man, I had no idea this wasn't in from day one. In 2024. That's absolutely wild and would have made the game unplayable for me. You know, amidst all these other issues.

Sure. If they wanted to make another 2D Mario game, Wonder is a fantastic blueprint to use and iterate on.

I'd much rather a new 3D game before another Wonder though, if that's the real question.

I actually just bought a used copy a few weeks ago. I've yet to fire it up, but it will be the first Pokemon game I've played since Blue. Something about Arceus looked very appealing to me since it came out, so I've be interested in giving it a shot for a bit.

This made me incredibly happy. I simply adore the two Wii games and always wanted (but thought it impossible) a new one. Super excited.

Maybe at some point. Not in a hurry to play it as I've got a ton I'm still working on.

Yeah, I don't think it is exactly a bold or original take to say it might struggle to hit the same numbers. I don't think it really has to though (to be considered a success), and I agree with others saying it'll be a more slow growth.

So far I'm feeling an 8, but I'm also only a few hours in. Quite a chill (despite the whole mysterious premise) experience that I am really enjoying.

I'm surprised by how engaging I've found it so far (6ish hours maybe?). It's very chill and there's enough to customize and play around with that it is scratching those itches.

The quest system also pushes you forward at a nice pace as a way to unlock neat things/engage in the social aspect of the townsfolk, but I've found it just as fun to log in and do some fishing and cooking for a bit.

For a free to play game that isn't at all beating me over the head about spending money on stuff, it's quite a bit of good fun, even with some pretty rough performance issues.

No telling how long I'll stick with it, but if the game keeps evolving, I can see myself playing around here a fair bit and as it stands I've just been enjoying unlocking the land on my plot and building more and more stuff.

I'm interested in the game (Never played the originals) but might skip the demo entirely and just dive in on release.

I'd actually rather they included Origins (maybe tougher since it isn't a Rocksteady game?) than trying to make Knight work, but whateva. Can see myself maybe grabbing this sometime next year on a deep discount.

7 seems low in my opinion, but it's all good. I've always said i believe this to be one of the best (if not the best) aged N64 game. The visuals are a big part of that, but there's also something about how it FEELS to play that remains utterly sublime in my opinion. I've always got time for it and I'm excited to play through it all again on Switch.

Is the game actually any good? I've not been keeping up, but the focus on framerate is the right choice regardless. It looks nice enough to me as well.

I tried it when it first came out and if I'm honest it did very little for me. My main issue was how slow everything felt despite the premise feeling "high energy". It was very strange.

I wish the studio the best, but I'm not shocked at another F2P/live service title not making an impact, running out of gas way too quickly and fading into nothing.

Given the choice I'll always pay more for a physical option. Games go on sale often at various retailers even when the digital versions don't, plus I still borrow/trade games with friends etc.

Always good to have the option.

This one mostly comes down to what I grew up with. The NA/EU version is borderline iconic to me despite how "boring" it is. The Japanese one just a tad too busy/corny to me.

I got 5th place my first two online races and since then maybe a few top 10's and the rest nowhere even close.

Still tremendously fun though, so I'm good.

I found the reveal trailer quite intriguing but given my backlog, didn't want to jump in. I hope by the time I do everything is ironed out a bit. It looks like something I would enjoy.

Sea of Stars assuming kickstarter codes are sent out in time for release. I've had Switch games previously get held up like a week or two. Really looking forward to it regardless.

I never finished it or experienced the Undead Nightmare stuff back in the day, so I am a little interested.

Yep, but I preordered on Amazon since I had credit there, and they are being weird with the date as per usual. I can wait a few extra days, but I hope it at least ships on Friday.

@Specters agreed 100%. one of my favourite games this year. The mystery, setting and creepy atmosphere of it all is top notch. Even if I was let down by the endings (I wasn't) I don't think I'd care much given how everything up till that point is an absolute delight.
