Re: FBI Shares Official Statement After Seizure Of Major Switch ROM Site

Love how people base their argument on absolutely no data, regarding the loss of sale.

If Nintendo and other companies want to combat piracy, then stop taking advantage of your consumers and screwing them over every chance you get, and stop with the cynical attempts at getting adults and kids addicted to monetization schemes. These companies aren't defenseless or barely surviving the market. They're fine, and most are thriving despite of piracy. Piracy has just been an excuse for the big companies to implement non-consumer friendly systems that empowers them and screws over the consumer.

Re: UK Retailer GAME Cancels A Bunch Of Nintendo Switch 2 Pre-Orders

@PessitheMystic Was thinking the same, but you have to remember that -especially- this being a Nintendo console, a lot of people that preorder aren't necessarily consumers who read video game news or stay up to date on what's going on in the game industry or anything related to video games.

Re: Nintendo Updates Switch 2 Backwards Compatibility List

Great! But must say that the newest rumour (if true) really have ruined any hope or expectation for this new console. Supposedly the console needs Internet activation to actually work (at least for Switch 1 games).

"Update: wario64 tweetTwitter user wario64 tweeted this "Another person shared with me that they have a Nintendo Switch 2 as well. I have no permission to post pics but can share that when they try to boot a Switch 1 game, a message prompts "Please connect to the internet and update your system."

Needs update to boot a game""

Nintendo really changed for the worse. :/
