It's a single player game with a multiplayer function...so...who gives a fu**. Just play the game how you want and stop trying to demand or force others to play it how you want them to play it. It's not effecting anyone.

@Thaliard You can dream all you want but the system specs for Witcher 3 and RE2 are completely different on different levels. For what is possible to port on a Switch's hardware.

@WallyWest Exactly, we will just wait until there is a "Switch Pro" of some sorts. Nintendo would be stupid not to invest in a hybrid system like this with even more powerful hardware, at least enough to run new games like RE2 and RE3. Especially with Switch being as popular as it is.

@BeefsoundMagnus Have to remember Witcher 3 is a 5 year old game, it ran on way less demanding hardware compared to today. It is also been optimized very well. Only way possible for RE2 to happen is either through cloud gaming or play the game on Switch until the hardware is so hot it either melts or just crashes permanently.

Untrue, Nintendo had several shortcomings and games that aren't as great as this article tries to make it sound like. Kirby, Yoshi, even LM3 wasn't that great. Reviews aren't everything.

@NotoriousWhiz Don't know how it happen, and that is interesting but in the end I personally just don't care. A white person can voice a black character as much as they want and vice versa. Also this "progressive" movement in the games industry and all the identity politics are so damn hypocritical it makes me sick. Oh my god, Nintendo needs to ban this player ASAP. Don't need this in our game. I love AC but Nintendo need to monitor this type of behaviour.

@ReaperExTenebris I don't underestimate at all, as I am one of them. But it's gonna be a long road until devs/publisher back off to the point where we don't have these abusive functions in our games or greedy game concepts that cheats us to pay more.

Legal thing, you're right but there have been examples of where devs/publishers went way too far and was able to do so without being stopped. EA is a good example, they have/had a part of the user agreement that stated, if you were inactive for a year, they could delete your game and remove the license attached to your user. Another problem with digital games is the fact that, if you delete your account, you lose all your games. You should have the right to buy something and have the CD key to download it from THAT server whenever you wanted regardless of you having an account or not. And then it is also the issue with hacking.

@ReaperExTenebris Would agree with you if it wasn't for the fact that download sites like pirate bay or rom-sites have been pushed to the point where the amount of traffic and download items have drastically been reduced because of either threats of lawsuits or governmental entities pushing them to shut down servers or stop their services/distribution of roms.

Compared to how things used to be, things have definately changed for the worse. Also, problem with digital only is that the publisher will have all the power to manipulate the legal agreements attached to a game and fully control how a consumer can use something they bought and paid for, which is an awful practice.

This is why digital only future is a scary future for us consumers, don't support this consumer toxic practice!

They could have just waited, this wasn't really worth it. Bravely Default was the only "exciting" showing, but everything else we either knew about or is just a port that was going to happen anyway. Nothing exciting, but always nice to get a direct but it's been so long I'd have rather waited a few more weeks or a month for a full on direct.
Would also have been nice to receive an update regarding Outer Worlds, but that isn't something Nintendo can control so that is understandable, but they could have at least thrown in a few Nintendo ports then, like Zelda or Metroid that we already know is coming.

Don't get me wrong, the different collections are awesome, though my hype is a bit damaged by the announcement that they contain mix of physicall and digital Must Download content.

Totally valid complaint, the one island per system concept is ridiculous but it not being open world is just silly. Not every game need to be open world.

This is odd, can they really take this down when it is non-profit? I guess that Media Molecule indirectly "profits" from these creations but it seems like a stretch.

I will receive this game tomorrow! Been investing thousands of hours on Steam. Absolutely love this game and Theme Hospital.

Not surprising, it's a kids movie. Kids movies can suck major balls but still earn a great profit. The movie was extremely bad but it's a kids movie.

No thanks, devs seriously need to stop with such level of desperation. Considering what the pricing of this remaster will be. They have no right telling us to buy it for them to make a sequel.
