@The_Nintendo_Expat No, you misunderstand. The Anniversary Edition is the 'ultimate version'. So the Switch 2 and PC versions go hand-in-hand. I say "what might be" because you never know what Bethesda might come up with in the future.
It's a lose-lose situation. Ubisoft is undoubtedly too big and bloated, and it's frankly unsustainable. But of course, it's heartbreaking to see folks suffer as a result.
@N00BiSH It is on NSO. They've done this with a few other games though, I'm sure. Again, it's a good alternative for those who want to "own" the games.
@Kiz3000 Couple of potential explanations here. There isn't (to my knowledge) a physical edition available on Xbox. As for PS5, there's a Twin-Pack available containing both Remake and Rebirth. It's possible that all sales for this week have been solely for this version, which would be recorded separately.
I could be wrong, but I think it's entirely plausible that Switch 2 managed 100% of the split.
@Scarmucci What's wrong with clarifying that? You have to remember that not everyone who plays games is as knowledgeable as we are. It's called "Remake', not "Part 1".
@jfp That's... not even remotely the case here. The game is obviously in very early development, and teams often showcase cinematic trailers as a way to attract talent to the studio. This thing is way off, and we won't see any gameplay for a while.
It's a good idea to copy your save file regardless, but the text from GameSpot doesn't mention that you're given the choice to save your game upon beating the final boss. If you want to go back and load up the manual save prior to entering the final section, you can just select 'No'.
The way it's written makes it sound like the game gives you no choice in the matter, but this isn't true.
@MasterGraveheart I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they update the game at a later point to make it optional; or at least lessen the instances in which he contacts via radio.
@Elektrogeist1287 The puzzles are great; some of the best in the series, and there are plenty of them. Despite the added dialogue from the Federation Troopers, much of the game is quiet and isolating, with some areas completely without power or enemies for long stretches of time. It's equal parts calming and unsettling. There are also loads of Lamorn Lore scans to add to your logbook, and this massively fleshes out the overarching narrative.
@Insert_Username Some sections certainly prove taxing, but there's nothing quite on the same level as, say, the boss fights from Dread. Hard difficulty is a big step up, however, since the enemies deal more damage, and save stations don't replenish your ammo.
@iLikeUrAttitude This really just demonstrates how much this style of writing has been shoved down our throats over the past 15 years or so. It was cute back in the days of Buffy and Angel, but Marvel took it to the extreme.
@JaxonH I don't believe there's an issue with it, but gyro seems to be limited to camera control when sitting at camp fires. You can't aim weapons with it. Very weird decision, but there you go.

Re: Review: Resident Evil Requiem (Switch 2) - Action And Horror Combine In A Series Highlight
@RenanLK The lighting is very different, so it's hard to compare. I'd say character models in this are slightly better than Pragmata.
