@JohnnyMind I'd feel pretty confident in saying that Starfield will absolutely be at the top next week. The early upgrade code is really only for Game Pass subscribers, so when the floodgates open on its full launch this Wednesday, sales will spike significantly.

@themightyant It is technically just first-party, but Minecraft wouldn't make it into the top ten regardless. I'm only guessing, but based on figures from last year, I would imagine Minecraft is hovering around the 6 million mark.

Monster Hunter Rise is probably closer. Global sales across all platforms are over 12 million, so Switch alone is probably at least 8 or 9 million.

@dew12333 Technically, neither exist. These are just titles that have been adopted by fan communities and media outlets.

Regarding a 'Switch Pro', however, you can pretty much write it off at this point. The Switch is now over six years old, so a new console will be a full-blown successor, not a Pro model.

If you've grown up playing the original Super Mario Bros. on NES, then the All-Stars version feels borderline broken by comparison. The way that Mario breaks blocks feels fundamentally different and completely details any momentum built.

It's weird because, in a vacuum, the SNES versions are perfectly fine, but there's just something "off" about them if you're familiar with the originals.

@Nf157 The only issue with that, for me, is that MGS4 makes numerous major references to the story of Big Boss; it's as much his story as it is Solid Snake's. Playing it without the context of at least MGS 3 wouldn't be a great experience.

@CammyUnofficial We really just play it by ear as to where articles might fit best. You might also notice that we feature cross-links to Time Extension on Nintendo Life, and vice versa.
With this video in particular, yes it showcases an event that took place over 20 years ago, but given its focus on Nintendo products, it feels like a good fit for Nintendo Life. Time Extension looks at retro products and features across all platforms, not just Nintendo.

@nocdaes There's an awful lot more to it than that, and many reasons why it could be deemed difficult. Scheduling, budget, resources; it all factors in and it most certainly wouldn't be a breeze, as you say.
Not to mention the insane fan expectation with such a project. Yes, I believe it would be difficult, I don't envy Square Enix at all.

@Kiyata Semantics. It's a full physical release in the sense that the original Sonic Origins was digital only. But yes, the additional content is included via a download code.

@RubyCarbuncle I tracked my Amazon delivery for the Xbox Series X on my phone when it launched. I literally watched the driver come down my street, stop outside the house, and then drive off again. I immediately got a horrible sinking feeling in my stomach.
Thankfully, he came back later in the day. No idea what happened!

@Cashews Gardens of the Moon - it's the first in a ten book series. Do a bit of digging before committing to it, mind; it's notorious for its lack of hand-holding. Worth the effort though.

@Cashews Have you read Steven Erikson's work? Such an incredible writer; his work is unbelievably ambitious and I doubt any movie or game studio would want to touch it.
