@LastFootnote SML3: Wario Land is available, but for the life of me I can't figure out why Wario Land II has yet to appear. 3 and 4 are already available, too.

I had gave my DSi to my mom years back and she has to constantly keep it on the charger. I've replaced it's battery at least twice already. Oh well. My 3DS still works, but it strangely flips to low power at times, so I think its battery is going.

I do not understand why I am drawn to this game. I just stopped in to see if I'd even remotely be interested, and it turned into a yes. Looking forward to a review.

Sounds fantastic. I just wish I the time available to sink my teeth into this. It would take me forever to complete this.

This was hard. I went with NA because the style was so definitively Zelda for the time and I was used to that. But JP definitely gets respect for a great illustration that depicts the world Link's in.

This weekend is Freedom Planet 2 (60% off) while I await to pick up Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Monday.

March 1989 for NES for me. It was my 3rd owned NES game. My brother is who I have to thank for turning me on the Zelda, as he was the one picking and buying games at the time. When I pulled that gold cartridge out the box, I could tell it was something special. I was snared by the music, that feeling of adventure and wonder, danger and curiosity-- I literally was in another world with agency. Between maps, guides, and word in the street, I loved every minute of it. To complete it, I had no guides, but I had learned enough of how the game worked that I was able to eventually thwart Ganon. To this day, I've played every mainline Zelda, and I don't intend to stop-- Zelda is one of the major reasons I continued on as a gamer in the first place, so it's literally a part of my life without question. Happy 40th LoZ. Let's do 40 more.

I love it! They found a clever way to turn the infamous typo into a thing a la a Dragon Ball fusion of Billy and Jimmy. Genius, and I'm here for it.

I'm fascinated by these deep cuts already. Console Archives is all over the place, and I'm here for it.

I'll consider this version then when I have time to pursue Adol's quests again. I hate that I have other things to play-- I still have Ys IX: Monstrum Nox, Ys Memoire: Oath in Felghana, and I believe Ys: Revelations in Celceta is coming, of it hasn't already. Sheesh, it's tough being an Adol fan 😆

Nintendo's fiscal year is coming up in... April, right? If a hike is coming, I may have to speed up getting a Switch 2 before the end of Q1 sometime. Wasn't in "my" fiscal plans, but do I risk waiting? Decisions, decisions...

Since it was 50% off, I decided to get Beyond Good & Evil: 20th Anniversary Edition at long last. Missed it for GCN the first go around, but finally correcting that mishap. In between that I've been playing Contra: Operation Galuga because I felt like shooting ****, and I want to unlock as many perks as I can to make it easier for my gamer partner for when he does run it with me.

So basically this is a "Player 2 AF" controller-- Good enough. I prefer rumble, too, but if I had to choose between it and gyro/motion, I'll take the latter every time. I'll keep this controller in mind.

Staryu/Starme-- I don't know why, but it was just the fact it's a floating starfish, and its cry on the animated show was just funny as hell to me. Gengar is up there... Look at that wicked smile. I also like Snorlax and Blastoise.

Edit: I could also do with a James Bond Jr. reboot, too.

Bond had such a derp face and that smirk doesn't help, but it does capture the "young upstart" image, so I guess it's not all bad. I'm a stickler for origin stories, and I love Bond, so I'll keep an eye out for a review.

@bnutz2k I actually didn't have as much issue as others do with C64 and thought it was fun. It wasn't perfect, but it was serviceable as the first 3D Castlevania and way overdue for a remake. I personally liked the soundtrack though there weren't that many songs.

I got 3 wishes for this 40th anniversary:

1) A remake of Castlevania: Simon's Quest
2) A remake of Castlevania 64/Legacy of Darkness
3) SOTN for Switch 1/2

Be still my beating heart. I'm glad that Goemon was thought of at all. It might be Japan only for now but that gives me hope that there still could be a western release. I won't pine for it but I'll cross my fingers.

...Why even bother to have it made of cardboard for the non-official Virtual Boy then? They could have just gave it a hard shell like the official Virtual Boy...

I laughed when I saw that 2030 date, I knew it was a placeholder but damn! In unrelated, but semi-related as far as release dates, Bubble Symphony seems to have passed its release date but has not released yet..

There's a bajillion console games that could be on this Console Archives. I'm hoping it will get some deep cuts that you can't find much anymore. NGII seems like an odd one to start with but, let's go!

So finally Nintendo gets to get the latest and greatest Tales game rather than catch ups of the past? Nice.

Love the pedigree of talent, hate the mobile origins. I won't go as far as to say it's a pass, but I'm going to need some convincing to stick it out.

Once I get my Switch 2, I'll pursue:

Mario Kart World
Donkey Kong Bananza
Metroid Prime 4: Beyond

The funny part is everywhere I go I see this system on the store shelf, so it's impressive the numbers so far. If I didn't have other priorities I would snatch up a Switch 2 right now.

Impressive. Simply impressive. And that's despite the fact that Switch 2 dropped. I'm sure they'll continue to find just as many ghost PS2 sales as they will continue to find ghost Switch 1 sales, so that goal post battle will probably continue for the next few years lol.

I consider some of these extras to be great if you hadn't played it the first time around. But since I've played the vanilla game the first go around, I'll be spending my time elsewhere on other games.

I wasn't interested, but I'm intrigued to see how this one turns out.

I think when Sega doesn't try to copy Nintendo on concepts, that's when they shine the best. Original stuff from Sega that Nintendo doesn't do, at times, has been more memorable.

Mario & Luigi: Brothership — Invading Fortress Zokket today. Debating if I want to finish my last side quests... I'm kinda over it. Already lv. 43, so I'm good to go.
My gaming partner is coming though and it's his birthday, so we're going to get some brawlers in of varying degrees.

I wish I had got into the River City Saga games, I would probably still be playing them to this day. But I'll just stick to the basic River City related games for now.

My God I'm so hyped for this!

I usually don't just "buy because", but I'm getting the Virtual Boy headset no matter what, and this just sweetened the incentive. In the end, pointless much? You betcha. But hey gamers... AmIright?

I played the Batman Telltale game and enjoyed it, so I'm interested in this game.
