Now this is something I look forward to playing on the Switch 2.

Some of the comments are in-line with how I feel about Pokemon. I haven't really sank my teeth into it just yet, but I'll play a little more when I get a chance. If I honestly can find a way to enjoy the battling without the adventure aspect, then this game may finally be the Pokemon game for me. We'll see.

I like the gimmick, I'm just wondering how much classic Yoshi Island style play there is as a total package. In fairness, it's not called "Yoshi's Island", so I'll just have to wait for a review to know for sure.

Yeeeah... I'm just not sure it's for me. I like Yoshi, I know he's meant for the younger crowd (apparently), though I did like Wolly World. I'm intrigued, but I'll need a review.

Most stuff that critics dislike I'm usually entertained by, so I would tell Miyamoto-san not to think about it too much. It was never going to win "greatest movie of all time", so just be glad it prints money for movie goers and "somebody" was entertained.

So be it, Kamiya-san. My thought was the poetic "death of the hero, yet a new chapter begins with a new hero" was intentional. It doesn't matter to me one way or the other. He doesn't seem like he'll be helming the next Bayo (if there is one), so a part 4 story would literally be up to whoever is penning it.

Whelp, I guess I can add this to my "What are you playing?" list for the weekend. Off to download the demo. It's a sure bet I'll pick it up one day, but this is a nice aside in the meantime.

OPUS has really come a long way.

Like some have said more or less already, what would make this any different from other movies of its ilk? Sounds like a "cause we can, we're doing it" type of affair. Good luck to them, I hope it will be entertaining.

I went back to libertate Colony Iota in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, now I'm back on track to proceed through Maktha Woods.

My retro throwback this week is Quester. I am such a sucker for brick breakers.

I'll be dabbling in the Inti-Creates demo Kingdom's Return: Time-Eating Fruit and the Ancient Monster. It had me at "Action RPG", so I'll see if I dig it.

Lastly I'll finally give Pokemon Champions to see if I want to spend any time with it down the road.

I can't wait to know who they pegged for Ganondorf.

Neither are great-- I mean, how do you illustrate a "Mendel Palace" if the receiving viewer has no idea about it lol? With that comment out of the way, I'd say while accuracy is no fun, I'd prefer it to something I won't even slightly see.

My main for the weekend is Xenoblade Chronicles 3, navigating the Maktha Wildwood. But I've had a retro itch lately, so this is what I'll dabble in this weekend:

Polaris - This AA just dropped and I screamed when I saw it. I haven't played this since I was a child. I totally forgot about it and its name.

NES Pac-Man - Nothing I haven't played, or have better versions of, but I enjoy a few moments of the NES version sometimes.

NES Tower if Druaga - I've always dabbled, but never got far. A game I appreciate but will probably never beat.

Mendel Palace - I had always heard and seen this game but never tried it. It won't light the world on fire, but I'm actually enjoying it. Not bad.

I think I'd be happy if BS Zelda showed up.

Maybe one day StarTropics II... one day...

I bit. Gimme da pins. I've been here for all the 40 years of SMB... Don't know if I'll be around for the 50th, but I'll try. But in case I don't, I have something to commemorate this day at least for now.

Just liberated Colony Lambda in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. I'm really enjoying this cast of characters. I'm thinking of picking up Quester as I have a thing for brick breakers.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Smashed my first Agnus flame clock on a side quest, but I'm getting back to the main quest where we liberated Colony 30.

Of anything I would like to see a remake of, it's RE0. That game is stuck in its time, and it hasn't aged too well imo.

I saw the price for PS5 Pro and literally went OH ****!! Damn... I might have to push my NS2 purchase timetable up...

I love Mega Man and I dabbled in this series, but it just wasn't my cup of tea overall. Maybe we'll still get that Mega Man Legends collection...

Guess a new 3D Mario and Zelda can't come soon enough.

OoT... we met when I was 19. I was off and away into my college years, and the N64 was my "norm". I remember when my mom witnessed the first 3D Zelda. She said, "I like Link's boots," as she always loved a dashing pair of boots. I never forgot that it inspired her to do artwork for a fantasy adventurer character not unlike Link himself, and I cherish that portrait still. Good times and Zelda always seemed to go hand in hand, and my mom too was there through many of them. Happy Mothers Day to those celebrating... I'll do the same in May.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 for me. We're in the desert, cooking and crafting gems.

I have no issue with him. It's actually funny how everyone is so annoyed by him.

They're really trying with the Switch 2 3rd party controllers. I'm even more impressed with this controller, and all I ask for is gyro. For the price point, I'll keep it in mind as a "player 2" controller.

JP's image is so unnatural to me, but I do appreciate seeing Kratos. NA all day though.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 for me. En route to the Sword.

So it's basically a PC then... A PC that plays Xbox games.

So we're incorporating SMW, SMG, and SMB2 in this movie. Phew!

@LastFootnote SML3: Wario Land is available, but for the life of me I can't figure out why Wario Land II has yet to appear. 3 and 4 are already available, too.

I had gave my DSi to my mom years back and she has to constantly keep it on the charger. I've replaced it's battery at least twice already. Oh well. My 3DS still works, but it strangely flips to low power at times, so I think its battery is going.

I do not understand why I am drawn to this game. I just stopped in to see if I'd even remotely be interested, and it turned into a yes. Looking forward to a review.

This was hard. I went with NA because the style was so definitively Zelda for the time and I was used to that. But JP definitely gets respect for a great illustration that depicts the world Link's in.
