It's so confusing and overused these days. I can never tell if it's by, and, or, times, cross, or just silent. I just try to wait for what the developers say it should be and go with that.

I use the wishlist for games I know I want but waiting for a sale, games I'm curious about and hoping for a review before deciding to purchase, or as reminders of games I intend to rent through GameFly. If it's something I'm looking to be on sale, and the sale is usually poor or nonexistent, then I turn to Deku Deals to alert me. I can't say it's a scrapbook for me per se, but it is a to do list of sorts.

Way late, but I've been playing Mario & Luigi: Brothership and Taito Milestones 3.

I look forward to the long awaited XCX2. Next year might be too soon, but maybe 2027. Here's hoping.

Wow, what a milestone. And such a landmark game. Hamster is doing the preservation god's work. I'll likely pick it up at some point. Now... how about more (and more frequent) sales for your Arcade Archive series, hm?

I like the game, but didn't know there's 23 worlds, wtf. With all the mini games, specific exercises, etc, 10-12 worlds ought to have been enough, I think, but hey, worthy investment, I suppose.

I decided to download a game or two I've been meaning to: Taito Milestones 3, Chained Echoes, and Freedom Planet 2-- They've all got deep sales at the moment. In other news, not long after returning from an extended stay at my mom's house did my TV's picture decided to bite it. How un-Merry Christmas that was. Back to my mom's to get my old TV I gave her as a spare. In brighter news, this sets me up to get a 4K TV with 120fps over my 4K 60fps that died, so I'll be playing Switch 2 in style once I get one. Happy Gaming, Everyone!

Here comes the dev complaints and excuses. Vapoerware until present. Make it work or concede. Glad I'm not pining for it.

I swear I don't even care to entertain anymore about censorship. I'm just glad i got to see the game in action and like what I see.

It's still amazing to hear how many devs got into the industry because of SMB. It wasn't the first video game I played, but it was the one that solidified video games becoming a major part of my life for the years that followed.

At this rate, we will get the entire Trails series in one place. Amazing how far they've come.

@dudujencarelli I definitely agree that post SNES the X series got worse. That's why I hope an X9 can return to basics similar to how MM9 did at the time for the original series. Guess it all comes down to the direction.

I beat The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom this weekend, so that's done. I was gonna dabble with Rocket League and probably finish Karateka the game, then play the remaster at a later time.

The castle on a bland background seemed lazy for a Mega Man cover to me, so I always hated MM6's box art 😆
I prefer the intended artwork any day over interpretations, so JP ftw today.

Ah ok... so first and foremost R-Type III. Did I play this? Ugh, I can't remember. I like R-Type, I just wish I kept up with the series better.

Some more curios for me to dabble with. Like all games in NSO, I'll give them a go.

Sigh... I remember when I was that kid myself. I stared 6 Switch 2's in the face at a local Target recently, helpless to do anything as my wallet has been decimated this year, and not because of gaming. When Switch 2 dropped this past June, I already resolved to circle back on it June 2026. Being a life gamer only gets tougher with age, and in my household, I'm the only gamer, so no one "gets it". I'll manage it until my dying day, that's all I know.

Good to know this exists. I loved Year Walk particularly-- So haunting, and I played it at the end of the year in the dark just for ambiance.

Continuing with The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. Just rescued the king, so it's time tour greater Hyrule now. Finished up the documentary portion of Karateka, so I'll leave playing the games for another day. I beat the Over the Horizon portion of the Over the Horizon x Steel Empire game.

Oh well too late, I already played and beat that recently, but glad they gave it some TLC nonetheless.

I'd still take the long lost Chrono Break if that's what's in the works. Otherwise, I feel they might go for an HD 2D look of CT.

Crazy the highs of Shovel Knight and the era that followed... and with only their sophomore effort, they're reduced to this. Damn, nothing's promised. I'm pulling for you Yacht Club, and I'm looking forward to Mina the Hollower. Just... don't keep it at release date 2030 please.

I love these comments. Secret of Evermore mentions, Mana fans missing opportunities to play LoM. On the former, it's criminal it's locked in SE jail since the defunct Square USA developed it, so we we'll likely never see it outside of emulation. On LoM, I myself had just come off the glory train that was Secret of Mana, so when I knew there was a follow-up I was very hyped, but I didn't have a PlayStation and wasn't likely to have one soon in those days. The worst part is though I have yet to play it, I've heard that it's a divisive entry, so I constantly stay on the fence about giving it a shot or not. I don't know if I'll ever play LoM...

I agree about NA having the classic comic book look, and it's still a fav. I voted for JP because it went hard, like ALL the way in.

I'm continuing through The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. So nice to play a 2D Zelda again; Lots of fun. I just scooped Over the Horizon X Steel Empire for my retro weekend fix... I felt like playing some old school shmup action. I may get in some more Karateka if time permits.

PiT was fun, if not sometimes tedious for me with the 4 character, 1 button each setup for fights, but I loved it. And the surprise about the Koopalings being in it? Loved it too. Decent music as well. I honestly didn't know it got flak, but mileage varies, I guess.

It's likely been said already but, Mega Man Legends Collection is what I want to see next.

StarFox seems to be in limbo anyway, so I'm fine with a StarFox-alike by one of the original programmers. It looks REAL nice.

Nice lineup. Since it took them this long to release NGII, that means StarTropics 2: Zoda's Revenge is right around the corner, right...?
