Thank you NL, I was waiting for this kind of article. I figured another system, or in this case the NES, was more expensive. Guess I can't complain too much.

Once I realized that Age of Calamity was changing the events that led up to BotW, I understood it to be a separate time and space, or just non-canon. I haven't beaten TotK yet, but I know that Ganon had been imprisoned due to the Imprisoning War in the past, so I know Age of Imprisonment has to be Canon by the time credits roll. Still not sure of I will bother playing it yet.

@James021 Money's tight for me these days. I'm not a collector, so as long as I play, beat, and send back as many games that get physical releases then I'm satisfied.

I think the worst part is this just means more and more space will be needed for all these downloads, key card digital download or just download. I'll probably for sure be going through at least 2 microSD cards this generation-- I survived with just one for Switch 1.

I love the co-op Metroidvania style. I wish me and my gamer pal had more time to get into the Gal Guardian series.

I GameFly whatever physical games I can, so I'm not too bothered by the cost of games at this time. I only usually buy evergreen titles like the Mario Kart series and few others.

Full tilt games are gonna suck that battery down hard. 2 hrs at the low end of charge sounds right.

This looks like this was a get out of jail free card for third parties. I still have some gaps in my understanding of it. I guess I'll just have to wait in time to see how useful or unuseful these things are.

Lol, I remember when being concerned which team within Nintendo developing a game was not even a thing. I'll just say that I doubt that it's Retro Studios and I doubt that it's Rare doing this game.

It serves it's purpose, it's not required, and simply an extra in my eyes. Therefore it's frames are neither here nor there for me.

But what about the key code cards?

I don't have a problem with any of them, and it came down to Mario Kart World in Donkey Kong Bonanza for me. Both have a good flow to their images, but I went with Donkey Kong as we haven't seen him in a while with a new game, so I gave him the edge.

It's funny how I noticed how unique they were dressed, but I couldn't quite put a finger on what was going on. I should have known this was it.

My first instinct is to bemoan it. If they've designed the sticks in some kind of way that they don't drift then I could care less what magic, or lack thereof, that they used.

For me, the game was built for Switch, not for Switch 2, so I'm hardly going to blow a gasket about this. But that's just me.

If it's implemented well, I have no problem with it. If it's forced, then not so much. But then, with remapping of the buttons, this might be a moot point anyway.

That's great news. I'm just happy that I can fully remap N64 now, and now I can do it without flipping out my controls for the entire system.

I know there will be a Zelda theme eventually. There just has to be.

All I ask for is a fast eShop. The other stuff is nice, but I want it to be easier to navigate and faster to load. You can keep the music if you can nail that with the eShop.

In an ideal world, for sure MKW and DKB while I work on my backlog of Switch 1 games. A whole lotta Switch 1 games are about to get bumped up and bumped off-- There's still Switch 1 games yet to come for crying or loud...

That's the answer I was waiting for-- Switch 2 will take up to 2TB microSDXCs. Now I KNOW I will be buying the 1TB for sure.

I feel strongly that the tariffs weighed in on this price. I feel in a few years if the tariff climate improves, then the system will likely go through a sharp price cut to something more manageable like $350. That's probably two to three years away unfortunately as Nintendo, like any company, is trying to make sure they stay profitable during this time. Sadly that cost is passed on to us.

Since I shamefully have not disposed of TOTK yet, it looks like I will inadvertently be going into the Switch 2 generation with it unless I make hay this year. It did look amazing from the video, so if I'm still playing it by the time I get the Switch 2, I look forward to all that beauty.

Should be free. At least it is cheap. Won't be first on my list, but I'll at least consider it now.

Dang, I was hoping to hear Switch 1 could share Switch 1 games to Switch 2... Such as Clubhouse Games 51. Odd to me.

I see them emphasizing the 256GB SDXC, but is that the max size? I have no problem getting the 256GB, but I want to go larger if possible.

Guess Zelda will be the star again of a game. I'm sure somehow they will find a way to force Link into this. So Age of Calamity was a chance to rewrite history. I guess this one will be more in line to keep history as it was. Either way, it's great for Zelda and Warriors fans.

I'm happy for everybody who was hoping and waiting for GameCube games at last. I wasn't expecting them to give a nod to F-Zero GX, but welcome back old friend. I can't wait to build my custom car again.

I figured it was pretty cool, but then I was shocked to hear you have to pay for it. If that's the case then it likely will be an easy pass. There better be something very very special on it that wasn't covered during the Direct before I will buy it.

I feel this had been a key to the Xenoblade Chronicles series' success. There's western sensibilities in it, but it's distinctly Japanese in origin. Case in point, I buy Japanese games expecting their spin on it-- Same for western games.
