Conjuring a bed and having a nap during a boss battle is genius.

Depends on how different the ‘Switch 2’ is to the current one.

The footage is very selective and a lot of 3D platformers share elements. Not worth making a fuss about, we get to enjoy Astro Bot and Mario Odyssey. We’re pretty lucky

I don't have much of a backlog because, like a lot of people I'm sure, I've played all of the big games on the system. Will get the new Zelda and maybe the new Mario but that's about it.

I’ll wait for the reviews. Looks fun but also looks like something you’d get bored with after a day or two

There’ll be some complaints but it was a great Direct, best showcase this year. I didn’t get what I hoped for, but it had variety and surprises

Hope that I can play the FPS games in handheld mode easily- Goldeneye was a pain.

Nintendo is a company protecting its IP. I don’t know why people are still surprised/complaining about this.

Always best to go in with low expectations - there hasn’t been anything amazing from Nintendo since TOTK. Some good remakes and ports but nothing groundbreaking. They’re probably saving the big stuff for the next console

The Direct is on the exact date and time of my wedding. My priorities are being tested.

Never! Jumping onto, and from, that island are iconic moments in the game.

February 21st. Complete guess but would be spooky if I’m right

Diving off the Island in TOTK, the landscape reveals itself, and that epic theme plays. One of the best moments ever.

It’s a great little series that manages to be cute and meaningful. Give it a go.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 are my go to Christmas games. Not sure why, just like the visuals, the story and the music.

Bit of a biased poll, no outright option for saying it’s bad. Which imo it isn’t, but it’s slow and doesn’t make me want to buy this £50 game on release

@AnVold FFXVI was a beautiful looking game with great music and voice acting, but it was fairly linear and easy. I suck at games generally and I only died once. Plus there’s no replay value

I tried to like Baldurs Gate 3, but it’s so dull. It’ll probably win because life. I’m just glad I could skip all the esports categories
