Here’s a stupidly naive opinion- Nintendo is secretly revamping the eshop to reveal a whole bunch of games and features that will be announced at a Direct soon.

A proper Direct would still be nice.

I’d argue the price is too high.

Still trying to 100% Slay the Spire and slowly working my way through Neon White, a game that requires too much in terms of perfection. Not much on the Switch to get excited about atm, hoping for a proper Direct soon.

Looking forward to giving this game a go but I was hoping the next batch of N64 games would be announced in a Direct- we still haven’t had a proper one

Blaming the fans isn’t the best marketing strategy; I was excited for the game at first but the gameplay footage has made me more sceptical

There should be a bookmaker for gaming issues- 5/1 that the Switch gets ports of Persona?

I don’t actually bet on things, but by betting against the ports happening I’d essentially win either way

Would be nice if Nintendo announced their Directs ahead of time like most other game developers.

There’s a difference between ‘inspired by’ and ‘ripped off’. It’s good that the developers realised that and made changes

This. It really helped during lockdown to escape to Stardew Valley, or to play Animal Crossing. I have a friend that had to shield during Covid, and it meant a lot to be able to play Tekken/Battlefront/Mario Kart/Dragonball Fighter Z with him. It made things seemed normal. One day video games will be discussed amongst adults without any stigma.
