@RubyCarbuncle wouldn’t that be fun? Having to run from the authorities while they send Pokemon after you? Having the choice whether to keep the stolen Pokémon or sell it for a profit, creating a black market? Most Pokémon fans are probably adults now so lets get some adult themes in!

Idea for new mechanic- in trainer battles, you can actually catch/steal the opposing Pokémon.

@RubyCarbuncle They’ll just drop the pretence eventually with Pokemon “Just give us your money” and Pokemon “Then give us more of your money”

Regardless of the version of it (seriously, stop bickering about that), it’s a fantastic game and one of the best Zelda games. Top 5 easily

@Devlind nope, the Zelda games are genuinely different in terms of graphics and style (if not much else), but put screenshots of Elden Ring and screenshots of Dark Souls (any of them) infront of the average gamer and watch their confusion.

Yay! And I’m guessing Kirby will be the next N64 game to be released on the NSO expansion

I didn’t like the combat system and the school setting- basically was a less fun Persona game

Now they tell us, I’ve been using it as a hammer for the last few months.

Meh, can’t complain about the range of games, but no Zelda news at all was a shame. I’m hoping Nintendo do a separate Direct for that down the line

Let’s be honest, the story wasn’t great for the first two games. Bit of a slog. The gameplay itself is a lot of fun.

I needed some good news today.

@Ewaldus I’m being pessimistic here but I think that Nintendo are distracting us with this big sale, because it’s good news, so we’re not constantly enquiring about the next Direct.

@JokerCK NA gets a bunch of discounts, game trials and games that Europe doesn’t.

While this is good news, I have a feeling this is a way to distract from the fact we’re not getting a Direct anytime soon. I hope I’m wrong.

Starfox 64/Lylat Wars is still the best entry in the series. I’ve played though it hundreds of times and it’s still enjoyable

Wish I had an excuse to buy these. As awesome as my fiancée is, she’s not really into video games.
