Re: Nintendo Understands Switch Owners May Not Be "Ready To Jump To Switch 2"

KingBowser

The original Switch is only 8 years old and still selling like hot cakes, at least till the Switch 2 arrives.

That being said, I hope they still plan to support the OG Switch and not let it go completely, as there's still great games on the original system they probably could port over to the Switch 2, if "some" Switch 1 games can't fully work on Switch 2. That part I still don't understand completely, like will Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door work on Switch 2? What about Mario 3D All-Stars?

If by "Games releasing in Winter 2023" I'm assuming we're getting it between April and July. Luigi's Mansion 2 HD would be excellent for an October release judging by the vague "Summer 2024" release window. There doesn't seem to be games released after Princess Peach: Showtime in March.

Then again, we're talking Nintendo here, and they tend to update us about delays in-development with their games. So with Paper Mario 2, I would think a late Spring early Summer date. I mean, they have had released The Origami King on July 17, 2020 simultaneously worldwide, so who knows, we might get a July or June date

It's so stupid that this keeps happening. And it's not just gaming companies, it's movie theatre's, grocery stores and what have you. The world does not solely revolve around just money, does it? Do we really need money to survive, granted it does help put food on the table, but isn't going THIS far, ridiculous? Hell, even the price of housing is ridiculous, and it's making everyone, (including those who are disabled) live out on the streets, proving the dangers that cost us living on the streets. Corporate greed should've never been a thing

Re: Mario Movie Expected To Surpass $1 Billion At The Global Box Office

To me, it's no surprise that the Mario movie would sell amazingly well. It's Nintendo after all, every one old and new grew up with not just Nintendo but video games as a whole. That's why it's selling so big.

May I add that it's not even been a month here in the U.S.? It's could pass 3+ billion by the end year in sales of DVD, streaming and theater releases combined. That's just my opinion on the matter though.

Scalpers are quite literally sucking the fun out of everything aren't they?

They want to get whatever they can land their greedy hands on and then they sell it online for a thousand bucks high fiving it in everyone's else's face! That's how I think of this whole internet thing. I think Nintendo needs to make more of these items available (like the Super Mario 3D All-Stars poster) because let's face it, they have a s*** ton of money they're just keeping for themselves.
