Re: Random: Smash Bros. Director Masahiro Sakurai Really Likes Coca-Cola Zero

KingBowser

I don’t really like water, tap water is bland to me, so I drink bottled purified water from stores like Walmart or Sam’s here in the U.S. However, as for soda, any kind will do, except for diet sodas, I do like Coca-Cola, Sprite, and Barq’s root beer (A&W’s kind just doesn’t sit right with me). But technically water is good for the body, right? There’s no such thing as too much water, is there?

Re: The Voice Of Mario From The Early '90s Has Passed Away

KingBowser

Not to be totally harsh on this, but usually when an actor has died at an advanced age, it usually is termed as natural causes. Why it puzzles me that they had reported this 6 months after his death, I get it’s because of the family wanted privacy, I get that. But they could’ve at least gotten some info out to the public on the cause of death. Could’ve been cancer, or some infection.

Anyways, it’s truly sad, although I didn’t know the guy at all, may he be at peace with Lou Albano, Bob Hoskins, and Danny Wells

Re: Previously Limited Mario And Monster Hunter Spirits Are Now Available Permanently In Smash Ultimate

KingBowser

I had miss those Monster Hunter ones as I don't have/want the game just to get those spirits, it makes no sense why Sakurai couldn't just release Sprits on the Spirit Board one week after they are exclusively timed to appear, then disappear until an update for the rolls out. Seeing some blank spots in the List of Spirits drives me crazy thinking I might never 100% the game now. Thanks, Sakurai. Now can we get future Spirits to stay permanent after their exclusive events please

Re: E3's Just Days Away, Yet Nintendo's Being Oddly Quiet About Its Plans

KingBowser

I just dearly hope the pandemic seriously didn't make things worse for Nintendo this year. It's still a little early in June though, so we'll probably hear something from them later today or tomorrow or at the end of this week no less. Still oddly Nintendo didn't announce anything. What's going on over at Nintendo HQ or its subsidiaries? Please don't have us wait till September again, Nintendo! I swear!

Re: 1080° Snowboarding Creator Would Be Happy To Bring The Series To Switch

KingBowser

I can't know why they can't make everything available on Switch. The Switch is selling extremely well. Why is it always Nintendo's decision whether or not they can port something like this on Switch? (Paper Mario: The Thousand Year-Door and 64, for example), I mean, if the Switch is powerful enough to run Mario 64, Sunshine, and Galaxy (Galaxy 2?), then it would be possible for them to port older titles to Switch or Switch 2/Pro

Re: Dev Explains Why Nintendo Made Mario's Anniversary Games Limited-Time

KingBowser

Nintendo should've extended this 6 month into a 12 month. If Covid didn't happen, then we would've had more time to get like the poster set, which I wanted all this time, but never got a chance to because shipping is $5. I'm not paying for something I literally can get for free! Release these posters in stores, I don't get it, Nintendo!

Re: Nintendo Will Reportedly Reveal A New Switch Model This Year With "Bigger" Samsung OLED Display

KingBowser

Let's hope this means they'll actually do fix whatever's wrong with said Joy-Con drift, cause I do not want to physically shatter it again, and this was pre-pandemic shutdown last year around this time actually (February 26th 2020). If so, I hope they can allow all to upgrade to the new model at a low to no cost. I don't want to pay $300 just for an upgraded version, (like the longer battery model) it's just too much, and ridiculous when you could literally just 'switch' without headaches

Re: Feature: A Tribute To Bobby "The Nintendo Guru" Pauls

KingBowser

I didn't know him at all. But he was a part of the Nintendo family like every one of us. Covid really is a thing everybody needs to take very seriously, yet many choose to just care about themselves and not others that are suffering from this horrible disease. That's enough about that. Rest in Nintendo paradise racing on Rainbow Road, Bobby! A faithful soul gone way too soon.
