The pandemic and streaming killed E3. When can people stop living in the past and look to the future? We can't go back in time and rechange everything, that would be impossible

I was really looking forward to if shrines would be in the game. That added challenge in the first game was stellar. Doesn't look like the game will look better than the first game. Sequels usually aren't the best in terms of content. My opinion on the matter though

I wonder how much the New 3DS XL costs if I consider selling mine, along with Wii U (Still have the box for both, but only lost the stylus for each) although the coating on my N3DS XL has been coming off due to just wear and tear

Did Nintendo announce that StreetPass itself is ending service? They mentioned the eShop shutting down after the 27th. It's not like 3DS will be completely unplayable after that date. Heck the Wii U is doing going well despite the eShop shutdown on the 27th. The Wii U eShop though should've shut down on November 18th this year though. Missed opportunity to extend the deadline for the Wii U as November 18th. That's just my opinion

I still wish scalpers weren't a thing though. These people/(bots?) are the reason some of us never get the posters we want

Not surprising really. Just like with few stores in malls around the country, everything is digital nowadays and the pandemic exacerbated that even further, possibly making in-person events like E3, a thing of the past.

Seriously though, in other words, with everything practically being closed/shuttered for good i.e movie theaters, shopping malls, looks like staying home is looking like to be the new normal. I miss the days where the mall over in my town was packed with people. With COVID now, all that's gone ;(

Well I guess I'm saving this till my birthday so I can get birthday money from aunts, uncles and grandparents. It's the only way I can buy games now. Screw you inflation!!

I'm betting that the cost of the game is due to either three things: The cost of everything in inflation or development costs of the game being delayed a couple times, or the content is going to be very big this time around. They've been working on it for how many years? 3 almost 4 years now (kinda typical for the Zelda series)

Why? Prices are high because? Inflation or covid or both? Enhanced technology?

Just have Nintendo fix it for free.

@Deviant-Dork I'm not new to the world as you said. I just have a hard time understanding what all this stuff is about all this inflation stuff. Every time I've been told that this happens every year or 10, or 20 years.

Is this inflation due to covid? Or something like the war in Ukraine, or just does happen every year? Can we go back to simpler times when everything was below $3? This is ridiculous.

Honestly I'd like for them to release more games from their past systems onto Switch. Because if memory serves, they said the Switch has inherited all of Nintendo's DNA to the system. That could mean more of Nintendo's past systems as well as future games like rumored Super Mario Odyssey 2, Mario Kart 9, etc. I believe if they would be able to give us all the past games to the Switch's expanding online service, the Switch would be enjoyable for many years and thus future generations. Honestly I just want all games on one system and for Switch, that would be perfect

About time for this to happen! So glad these are back!

Screw the pandemic though as we know this pandemic has been going on for years and we need to live with this. This whole virus thing is nothing new and it has been politicized in the media for many years, and we need to learn to live with it

I wish they could devote more time to other games we know next to nothing about, like Breath of the Wild 2, Metroid Prime 4, (Pikmin 4?) and stuff we already know about like Bayonetta 3, Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3, and a bunch other small games that were either announced in trailers or other showcases throughout the year (Pokémon Presents and Indie Partner Showcase for example). I can already just tell that this Direct is going to be a huge letdown, so games that I mentioned plus GameCube and Wii support for the Expansion Pack is going to be taken with a HUGE grain of salt.

You can't find any tv's that support the three prongs that are included with the GameCube. At least not any other than the ones on eBay for thousands of dollars anyway.
