Knew this was coming as I saw the word delayed. Might as well delay every game planned from now till the end of summer. This COVID-19 stuff is getting way out of hand.

Well this information ruined my morning. The Coronavirus is taking over our lives and ruining it forever! I was really hoping we'd see another teaser for BOTW 2, or any of the other games. This is really starting to tick the annoyance out of me! If people of China didn't have to eat something badly or if people from the US didn't travel to China and then come back, infecting millions of people, we would've been okay. But now, this is going to be the start of a whole new era when this is all over

Should I risk buying another Nintendo Switch just to have the Joy-Con Drift issue again? Cause I hear Nintendo are delaying shipments back to consumers because of COVID-19.

Actually it was released on the 28th. So today's the official 3 year anniversary

I assume we're almost at the end if an era especially when the Wii U began to flop and continues to be. The 3DS better stay until those that can move on to the Switch. The 3DS and Wii U had its run in the spotlight for a number of years. And now more than ever, the Switch I believe will stick around for more than 10 years

I checked Walmart one day, they had about two Switch Lites. I checked Target in Springfield, Missouri, US Saturday afternoon while out just to get not be in the house all day, and they were freshly out of both the original and Lite versions, like nothing was there. Not even any PS4's or possibly Xbox's. They were even out of everything Nintendo 3DS.

Well. There possibly goes more BOTW 2 and other big game news this E3 since these are probably too small for a normal Nintendo Direct without any demonstrations.

That actually got me thinking, if Nintendo does go with their own studio-type E3 presentation at their office, (again, this is probably not going to happen sadly) how will they be demonstrating upcoming games?

Eh. I don't really trust listings anymore until further proof from Big N themselves.

Might I add that these listings are ruining surprises? If this game gets announced, there's no surprise there, because it's leaked as coming soon or whenever, you kinda know it's going to happen. So really, what's the point in stores opening their mouths when they try to get away with not being fired? I know I'm just saying some salty things here, but on another note, I actually wouldn't mind every Wii U game being on the Switch, since basically the Wii U was a stick in the mud at this point.

I hate hearing the word Coronavirus now since its like the very first thing the media talks about nowadays. Like can't we just go on with our lives and stop worrying about if it takes us all. I mean, we're bound to die at some point in our lives no offense to anyone, but I just hate hearing or even thinking of that word.

I'm sorry this isn't the place to talk randomly about this, but to those that think he died of the virus, do some research before immediately jumping to that conclusion. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go take a rest from this salty rant.

Well, with everything being cancelled and everyone losing their jobs, this year by far, sucked. Let's hope that 2021 comes packed full with announcements and events that was undoubtedly missed this year.

Would love if they test the original consoles first if it starts drifting first, so that they wouldn't be delayed in shipping there and back because of the Coronavirus. I want to buy another one soon but I want to wait until all of this is over. So please, Nintendo, find out what's going on with the Joy-Con Drift and simply fix it!

Well, that good news, everywhere around here has but one or two Switch Lites in stock. I can't buy one because my work closed permanently (although if our president reopens the economy by May 1st, I might be able to). Here's hoping everything opens back up soon. This quarantine stuff sucks.

Why can't anything be free for those that don't have money, nor don't want the exclusive stuff? I miss my Nintendo Switch now every time I see an 'system update'. I don't think I can buy one with the only stimulus check we get later on?

Analog stick and button configuration? Does that mean we can switch the actions to different buttons?

Wtf. So I've been using Clorox disinfecting wipes all this time and you're just now telling us.

Also a "soft dry cloth" isn't going to disinfect anything, so I actually don't care. But the real solution is to keep your hands washed, and refrain from touching your eyes, nose, or mouth.

How are anybody supposed to come up $400 for a Switch + Ring Fit Adventure when all casinos are closed, or at least they're supposed to be, if Japan has been reopened to life after China has gotten back on its feet after 2-3 months of shutdown. Everything here is supposed to open back up in August, reports say. Let's hope that's true!

Eh, I'll believe it when I see it actually come true. Right now all this doesn't appear likely at all, maybe one or two ports, but I highly doubt a new Paper Mario game will be released this year. An anniversary really is nothing but an anniversary. Did we receive anything release-worthy from any other franchise besides Kirby? Like Ridge Racer on the Switch, or a new Game & Watch? I know I'm putting nothing but salty words here. I just don't see EVERY Mario game in existence being on Switch in one year. I mean, I would be appreciated, but this would be looking like that April Fool's Day Nintendo Direct that IGN foolishly did 2 years ago I think. We got like one or two in that presentation that were actually true. No Zelda 64, Mario 64, nothing else. I should stop talking before I have some shells thrown at me.

At this rate, this game is going to take way longer than most anticipated. Where is mah BOTW 2 info Nintendo? With E3 2020 now axed, I assume a very big presentation is on the horizon in the coming months. These rumors about BOTW 2 are starting to antagonize me to no end. Don't keep us waiting

If online retailers are listing XC: DE as having a late May placeholder until an official announcement, one can assume that we're getting closer and closer to a Nintendo Direct, am I right?

@PieNinja Yes. Actually it was because of the complications of Joy-Con Drift in that I didn't think twice about calling Nintendo first to set up a repair. I could've also bought another one instead of just wasting $300 worth of a console. I should've thought twice, before throwing a huge tantrum

I hope all of us will be able to start working again soon so I can pay for another Switch.

I so wish I didn't throw my Switch against the wall...now I can't work for another one until further notice...😪

Should've just delayed games until all of this goes away.

In times like this, why release a physical game when we have a more serious case going on? Why can't they delay games? Maybe they should delay physical games and have digital-only games be released until this epidemic gets resolved and cured.

Due to the nature of the Coronavirus. We made the difficult decision to delay the release of Animal Crossing: New Horizons until further notice, as we value the safety of our consumers. We will announce a new date when timing is right.

Even people are losing work hours because of this. How are we supposed to pay for our phones for "the forseeable future"?

Well Nintendo Directs are cancelled "for the unseeable future".

What else are people going to do? Walmart cuts their 24-hour stores today for people who likely work that long. Staffers are telling them if they are sick, they should stay home. Especially if those who are quarantined to their homes. Ring Fit Adventure will have you stay fit while you are homebound for the time being.

Well, I'm just saying that in that movie, it might've been an infected virus from inside the room on the "other side" because well, I think this same area instead infected with a similar name. In the movie, it was named a "2319". In the real world, it was COVID-19. My brother looked at that scene from the movie and thought it predicted the future.

Actually, I second this, they might go ahead and do their own presentation on their own at their company or something since E3 2020 is no more.

Can't we try and sue them ourselves? I don't think they care that they're not finding out what the heck is wrong with these Joy-Cons. I believe it's because dust forms wherever it can, and that's probably why my Joy-Cons weren't working. I broke my Switch Switch altogether because of it. It's started working correctly, but there were small times where it would not. I plan on buying another one, but if it does happen again and again, I'll just keep sending them in for repair regardless.

Well damn! An unfortunate turn of events. So no Metroid Prime 4 release date for E3

I'm actually good to wait on a Nintendo Direct. Safety is a top priority and I can wait until this all subsides, whether we all like it or not.

However, dismissing E3 because of this is sort of jaw dropping. But surprising how this would be the only time that the show would be cancelled. I don't see E3 being cancelled once in its 20+ years all because of an outbreak. I just don't.

That last sentence is a definite long rest, not hopefully. Well, I for one, sincerely hope he does take however much time he can after this game is finished. Hopefully he won't pull another surprise at us and secretly works on more DLC or another game. Come on, there's no hopefully after this. He 'needs' a nice long break. Your body has suffered enough these past 21 years

@shinesprites I was actually being serious. This actually happened. If I had common sense and just called Nintendo and told them that my Joy-Con wasn't working (since October 2018) I would've probably got them fixed for free if it was okay if the drift didn't happen till a little over a year after I got my Switch (August 2017), things would've been better if I had done that, or listened to my mom and just bought a second pair of Joy-Con. Yes, she actually insisted on me buying another pair, if it was kinda worth the $80.

I was all excited about updating my Switch, but then quickly realized that I had a hissy fit and shattered mine against the wall with Smash inside. Luckily, I kept the game. However, this means I have to buy another one along with the DLC again.

Reason why? I hadn't sent my Left Joy-Con in for a fix because of the Drift, and because I was so mad and didn't take medication for my episodes that I took it out on my Switch instead. I wish we could turn back time to prevent that from happening, sadly, we don't have that power.

I'm really feeling the Nintendo Direct presentation now. It's this week or next, I can feel it!

In the meantime, we all are itching for a Nintendo Direct. They're trolling with us on this one

With all these games recently getting rated possibly for an official release date imminent, I believe a Nintendo Direct is on the horizon (no pun intended)

Guess I have to wait for a normal Direct...if they're ever going to do one. This is the longest I've waited. Hoping they're planning some big news

Remember how Smash 4 was to be the final game in the series, but then he worked silently on this game. This seemed to be a rumour or something, but Smash Ultimate came as a surprise to many, so who knows.

Pretty sure another company will take control of future games in series.
