I have a saying that this pandemic is still far from over. I overheard that with Covid here to stay unfortunately, that according to ABC News, there's another variant called 'Deltacron' and it only takes one person that's infected with Covid, to start a spread. Sadly we just simply cannot go backwards in time, which is what many companies and governments are doing with Covid now. They are opening up things and lifting many restrictions when in reality this pandemic is not over. It's as medical experts point out, it's 'endemic' meaning that it'll be here to stay.

I am stoked that we'll be getting one sooner than the one that's opening in Florida in 2025. Why the gap between next year and 2025 though I probably won't know. But excited to take one or more of my gaming buddies to this hopefully if COVID-19 stays out of this

Now I would be happy if they added Netflix and Hulu. Those two were on the previous platforms but not on Switch "yet"

I am torn between yes and no. Yes because you get both that and everything else in that Expansion Pass. No, because you can also pay separately for it but you don't get the others.

I still also feel $50 for a set of those N64 and Sega games that you can get cheap at a retro store used, feels a bit too much. Granted if they would've lowered it &10 cheaper than I would pay a year's worth. $50 is just too expensive especially now in today's world

Honestly I would like a GameCube Online announcement in this Direct, or a Wii library of games for it (namely Super Paper Mario as the motion control mechanic would be perfect for that)

@kal_el_07241 Well, I think a release date and at least another trailer would be suitable for the Direct. As far as other things though, a Metroid Prime 4 release window other than the obvious "in development" phase goes as honestly this game has been well in development for 5 years but restarted in January 2019, so don't know about that one for at least another year. But we never know. They might have something. Purely speculation but hope we do see something more Prime 4 related

Won't get my hopes up for BOTW 2 tomorrow

Honestly I'm okay with them releasing BOTW 2 when it's ready. If they release it sooner than this summer or fall, then they'll be patching things up constantly. Or BOTW 2 is ready, they're just toying with us, saying that it's months away from release.

Nintendo doesn't care about YouTube I guess. Honestly they could wipe out everything music-worthy on YouTube

Nintendo needs to set up a playlist for their soundtracks on their channel! People don't want to pay a thing for something that is free, such as YouTube.

@Bronski If the shipping were to be free however, then yeah, I'd be happy to purchase anything from the My Nintendo store.

I hope they'll announce Smash 64 sometime this year maybe in a Nintendo Direct as an update on future titles for the service.

This pandemic is really starting to reshape everything now, isn't it?

Why do Europeans get the good stuff and we Americans all get pins and 3DS guides and stuff? Come on, Nintendo!

The levels showcased in the SM3DW game are fun and all. But for a $60 game you can partly play in 3D World is not really worth it for me. Why are games so high in price now? Why can't free be free permanently?

Since we didn't get an update on BOTW 2 in September or The Game Awards, and with the pandemic still raging on in the world, I wouldn't be surprised if we get a early November date or push into 2023. I don't even know how bad Omicron is right now in Japan compared to the U.S. I think it's worse in the U.S compared to other parts of the world.

As long as it still costs $60, I'm okay with it. If they plan on DLC, I'd love to see some courses and characters from Tour included

Besides vaccines aren't going to keep this virus at bay forever. What are we supposed to do? Wear masks for the rest of our lives? Here in Missouri, the Governor only cares about business and the no-mask policy. We're not even reaching herd immunity. Not even close to halfway.

Hopefully we'll get some juicy Breath of the Wild 2 news soon or at E3 or a sprinkle of news about this and save the big guns for E3, like for Splatoon 3 and BOTW 2. Bayonetta 3 might see it being pushed back a little longer from 2022. I don't really see them pushing all these games into one year. I just don't see it happening.

Super Paper Mario would work as a Switch port because of the Joy-Con motion capabilities

Merry Christmas y'all!! Apparently have to work tonight, so my night of plans is scrapped again this year. Next year I'm going to plan it ahead and have it off, no matter what day it falls on.

On a much lighter note, I received two video games and won money today on some scratch offs. So all in all a decent month. Hopefully next year will be better

I don't have an online membership yet but once I get one soon, I'll be playing this immediately, although I still have on Wii U.

Why is there a worker shortage again?? You guys should know that the unemployment benefits are gone, have been gone since last month or 2 months ago. People are so used to laziness within this past 2 years. You can't just keep relying on the government to do your jobs. That isn't how life works! Sorry to act all salty here

That's good news to my ears, er, horns.

Am I the only one that doesn't play with the 3D slider on either 3DS? It just hurts my eyes and gives me a headache. I don't play it for long periods though, but there are some instances where I can flip it to 3D, (Super Paper Mario reference) but I just don't play much in 3D

I also can't wait yet another year for Breath of the Wild 2. I've waited long enough as is

If we didn't have to pay shipping. I'd be okay with buying something with my points. Shipping is ridiculous and needs to get rid of permanently. Like I don't get paid enough for a dollar or two for shipping, it's ridiculous. If shipping were free for everything (just like this country technically), I'd buy things that I would want, no matter the cost. I hate shipping and handling

I’m okay with $19.99. It’s like the standard price for DLC. Everyone asking for it to be $4.99 is just greedy. Everything in today’s world is not cheap anymore, and it won’t be that way for the foreseeable future. Everyone needs to accept that
