Would've rather had a port of the Gen 1 games.

Unfortunately is not a "Nintendo Switch 2 Edition", so previous save files are not compatible, and the physical Switch 1 release is currently ineligible for an upgrade (which sucks as I JUST got my copy in today).

@Jessicolonthree That ain't how it works, that would be like saying the Let's Go games are Gen 1. The generations in Pokémon refer to the game engines and Pokémon available, so considering how there are Gen 3 Pokémon in FRLG, they are Gen 3.

I just want the old games I grew up on.

Really hoping we get official confirmation that more classic Pokemon games are returning, I'll try FireRed out but man I really wanted Blue and Crystal.

I'm fine paying $20, I just wanted Gens 1 & 2 first.

I'm enjoying mine so far, especially Golf for some reason. Just a good game in 3D.

I waited 9 years for them to put the Gameboy/Gameboy Color games on Switch and they're starting with GBA???? why?????

I'm planning on slotting my Zelda Switch Oled into it as a permanent setup, as I haven't really touched it since the Switch 2 arrived.

I think the true blacks and vibrant reds of the Oled will more than make up for being slightly smaller than the Switch 2 screen.

Fury Bowser Jr. looks cool though, nice to finally see some Galaxy influence.

I'll add Rave Racer to my collection of 3D Namco ACA2 games. Glad they skipped Ridge Racer 2 for now as it was basically Ridge Racer DX.

Very much looking forward to this game getting more recognition, I can totally see it launching at $40/50. Incredible experience.

@obijuankanoobie I did not even think about how much better it might look on the Oled. I may pull out my totk oled switch as a dedicated virtual boy setup.

Probably the only direct in years that I did not bother to watch, but it seems like a good game from what I've heard. Might jump in completely unspoiled.

So looks like a grand total of 17 games which is not bad considering only 14 were released in America.

Those two unreleased games are neat, Zero Racer I believe is an F-Zero game that's never been playable or dumped anywhere.

I'm a big fan of the original FF7 but I have to admit that Remake is a much better experience. It's different, and it's part one out of three, but they're still so much more involved and full of life with the voice acting.

Chocobo GP is also incredibly underrated, it's good now!

Highly recommend, this will be the third time I purchase this game, even as a game-key card I cannot complain for $40 with the card pack.

I believe it has also been confirmed that Rebirth and the eventual finale to the trilogy will release on Switch 2 as well.

I'm actually a big fan of these retro offerings, and I wish that we could buy them separately.

Not that I don't like Yakuza games either, I love them, but having the retro stuff easily accessible without running to an ingame arcade would be nice. Especially releases like these with third party titles, make a Sega Digital Eclipse collection.

My top 5 were MK World, DK Bananza, MK8D, Smash Ultimate, and Aqua Jet. 170 hours for the year.

Looks like a Metal Slug game, turns out it's made by the same team. Neat.

I would say people are just getting their hopes up over nothing.. but I can't argue with the voice actors in the credits. K Rool in Mario Kart would have a lot of draw.

Eh, it's alright but when 95% of the games look and play better on my Steam Deck OLED then it's hard to justify buying very many games for it outside of exclusives.

I snagged a physical copy for $10 two years ago and have been holding onto it in anticipation of it looking better on Switch 2... needless to say I was disappointed when it ended up looking worse.

Completely new to Air Ride, and I'm liking it a lot more than I thought I would. The gameplay is fun, although I wish there were a few more tracks.

The one thing really holding it back for me is that it just needs one more mode. We've got races, races again, city trial, and story mode. It needs like a battle tournament mode. I know you can do stadium event minigames without city trial or whatnot but a smaller, more concise Mario Kart-esque battle arena would be fun.

I don't think it's better than MK World, and I've yet to try online, just local multiplayer, so we'll see. Would've loved a playable Epic Yarn character or even just a reference of some kind.

Cool, now I need a vertical one with good artwork.

There's microtransactions? I could've sworn that the game doesn't have any, just the extra character DLCs

I haven't picked this one up yet but I plan to, as I already have all the other 3D Namco titles. Aqua Jet's been my favorite so far, currently holding onto #1 on the leaderboard for expert difficulty.

After this they should add Rave Racer.

@Moroboshi876 yes, but on different platforms, so I don't mind.

@Moroboshi876 on their socials they said that they are planning a third complete physical edition but "not yet," implying more dlc is on the way. I've been buying the dlc on steam (thanks to the bundle discounts) and on Switch I'm picking up each physical version.

@BaldB3lper78 Sure it does, but for the past few years there have been so many games released on PS5/PS4 and Xbox that would've absolutely have come to Switch if the system was capable. I expected the floodgates to open and we really haven't had a ton of 2021-2024 ports yet.

I'm surprised we haven't seen more third party releases in general, but I guess that's a good thing if devs are working to optimize them.

Persona 3 Reload looks and runs much better on my Steam Deck oled than it does on Switch 2, which is kinda crazy.

What a shame, this was DE's opportunity to win back the fgc and they blew it. Should've just delayed it until it was fixed.

Reload is personally the weakest entry of the big three Personas for me, but it's still a 9/10 game. Definitely worth playing if you've played any of the others.

Best Dragon Ball game and dare I say one of if not the best fighting games of all time. Hoping he's the first character in FighterZ Pass 4 with Gohan Beast and SSJ3 Vegeta

This is a 10/10 game for me, and Rebirth is an 11/10. $40 for the full game, DLC plus the original FF7 is a heck of a deal, if I didn't already have it on the go via my Steam Deck oled. Great game!

This should be an option in software, little kids love to hit home X A "on accident"

I'm more looking forward to next week's big monthly title, last month we got Mach Breakers and I was really hoping for another 3D title.

After this it's just Legends and maybe a mini-collection of spinoffs like the psp remakes or the sports games, then that's it.

@PJOReilly In the poll it calls Resurrection a remake in the first option, just thought it was funny.

@Vyacheslav333 Man when's the last time you've played real kusoge, like Sailor Moon snes? Cotw has fantastic gameplay, mechanics and artstyle, just a small roster.

@Vyacheslav333 I think you're a little harsh on Cotw, the dlc is free, the guest characters are more "bonus" if anything, and the devs have already stated their intentions to bring every fatal fury character back into the roster over time.

I like how, since it was announced in that Nintendo Today app, we don't know how long it is yet lol.

Honestly I don't know what to expect. Hoping for some new Mario news of some type for the anniversary, I just beat Galaxy 2 on my steam deck oled and it would be a joy to run through that game again in 4k on Switch 2.

My #1 most played Switch 2 title right now (besides the big Nintendo Mario Kart and DK) is Aqua Jet. Really fun game with some cool speed tech; I'm at #1 in the leaderboards with over 10 hours so far, it's been surprisingly fun.

Right now the Switch 2 games I've enjoyed the most are the new Arcade Archives 2 titles.

@Pillowpants If you think about it, these guys aren't making Switch clones, all the Switch clones (including the Switch itself) are just Neo Geo X clones
