Re: Reaction: The Game Awards Left Us With One Big Question: Will Any Of This Run On Switch 2?

FoxyDude

I feel like Nintendo has typically had a very small presence in most of the game awards (outside of that one where they announced Joker for Smash), so as a mostly Nintendo fan, this game awards was pretty much what I expected.

However, I do still have a PS5, and the idea of an Okami sequel was definitely the highlight for me.

As for Switch 2, we still know next to nothing official regarding specs, so until Nintendo actually reveals the thing and shares the hardware, I'm not expecting any of these games to come to Switch 2 until well after they're already out on other platforms. Kinda like how we've already seen with so many Switch games.

Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Mario & Luigi: Brothership?

FoxyDude

Haven't finished it yet but I'm really enjoying my time with it so I gave it an 8.
Gameplay-wise, I love the battle system and how fluid the animations are. It took some learning to get over the muscle-memory of using B to select Luigi's moves.
I adore the art style of the game, the transition to 3D in the series works very well.
The music is okay. It's nothing spectacular, but it does the job.
Story is kinda barebones, but I don't really expect much deep story from Mario games nowadays

Re: Switch Online Offering Trio Of Game Trials

FoxyDude

Is this the first time they've done three titles in a Game Trial at once? Neat to see them offering more games at a time.

I've heard good things about the first two games, and I can definitely vouch for Vampire Survivors. Highly recommend that one.

Re: Nintendo Expands Switch Online's N64 Library Next Week

FoxyDude

Banjo-Kazooie was one of my all-time favorite N64 games. I loved Banjo-Tooie as well, but I felt like it suffered a bit for having almost too much to find/collect, and the backtracking wasn't great.

However, I'm still super glad to see this game coming to NSO, and with widescreen mode! It's been long enough that I think I have to give this game another playthrough when it drops.

Re: Californian Law Dictates Storefronts Be Honest About Digital Game Ownership

FoxyDude

I really like this law, and hope it adds more transparency when it comes to digital purchases.

That being said, digital storefronts still need to go a long way to ensure that we're actually owning the content when we make a digital purchase. I doubt that will happen anytime soon, but until then, at least being more clear that we're only buying a license for the content is a step in the right direction.
