Re: Sonic Superstars Developed By Original Designer's Studio

@Banjo-
People seem to forget that If there is something that bothers you you should not discuss it publicly on Twitter but talk directly to the people that are responsible for it in your company.
If I was the person responsible for hiring a studio for a new game I would surely hesitate as well and not trust the ones who talked sh** about me on Twitter.

I‘d say that numbers would at least go down, I used to be a music pirate myself but Spotify eliminated that urge and made everything more convenient for a good price. Then again the key to that is that they have anything available I can think of and even more. If companies want to eliminate piracy then that‘s how it should be with any streaming service, be it music, films or games.

Re: Mario Kart Tour Lawsuit Calls Out "Immoral" Lootbox Gacha System

Duffman92

Honestly, the system in the game sucks and it still encourages you to spend money but the amount is just so absurd that I personally would never do it.

Then again, if you‘ve ever played Crash Bandicoot On The Run you know that you‘re not at the lowest end here. You‘d have to do the same course over and over again to collect weird items that would then create guns. And if you had collected the items it would sometimes take 12 hours (12!) till a gun would be finished. But of course there are means to speed up the process: your dinero disguised as pink crystals…

So yeah, MK Tour is bad but not that bad.

Re: Round Up: The First Impressions Of The Super Mario Bros. Movie Are In

Can‘t wait to see it actually. And I don‘t see problems with too many references. That was one of the things that made me fall in love with Mario Odyssey.

And I think calling it just an Illumination movie won‘t do it justice. I‘m not a big fan of everything they do but people seem to forget that Myamoto was/is heavily involved. I‘m pretty sure he did everything to let it stand out from other films and let it have his own identity.

And by the way, before speculating we should just all go and see it when it comes out. No point in dooming it already.

The Nintendo Revolution reveal back in 2005 was fantastic. I remember watching a livestream of the event back then, it definately stuck with me. I was disappointed first when Nintendo opted out and did their Direct-thing. But I guess you can say they were ahead of their time. And it‘s obviously far more conveniant for them, pre-recorded footage in front of a green screen - it can‘t get any more cost effective than that.

Re: Bowser Defends $70 Zelda Pricing, Nintendo Still "Very Bullish" About Switch

Duffman92

I said it before and I‘ll say it again: People are whining about 10 bucks and probably have a steam library with unplayed games that is worth hundreds of dollars…Complain about other developers that put out unfinished stuff and sell it for 60 bucks. At least with Nintendo you can be sure that the game will be playable and a complete experience when it‘s released.

Re: Miyamoto: Nintendo Is "Always" Working On Mario, But Isn't Ready For The Next Game Reveal Just Yet

Duffman92

I honestly love that about Nintendo. Sure, we all wanna get hyped but I‘d rather wait a little longer and have something substantial then things like: "The next game is gonna be huge! There‘ll so much content, you won‘t believe it! It is going to define the future of 3D platformers!" - Yeah, screw that. Let me form my own opinion on it when there‘s something to see.
