Pocketpair could have easily made their designs a little different so that they don‘t look like blatant rip-offs. They chose not to, so if they lose it is well deserved.

From my understanding, he is actively taking his talking and vision to Activision.

3 was the pinnacle of the series. Switched it on a couple of years ago on the PS2 and the controls were just as good as they were when it released. To my knowledge they even wanted the controls of the remakes to feel like the third entry.

Now as for any more remakes the only thing I‘d consider would be THPS Underground 2. That‘s where the series should have ended in my opinion. The tight engine of the game combined with that wild comedic storyline wasn‘t something they could have topped. And the skateboard craze of the light 90’s and early 00’s really wore off after about that time.

Pretty sure, I‘ll be buying Donkey Kong, this is the first time that you can play the game on a home console and not being forced to use motion controls.

Maybe they could but the hardware sure shows its limits by now. To keep it going would be like running for president at the age of 81 - oh wait.

The floor and walls are moving like Mario had just a little too much of these red shrooms.

Mine is fine, could be due to the fact that it was almost never used after the Switch came out. The games were amazing but the gamepad thing really was more of a novelty than anything else. Still, I think if the WiiU hadn’t flopped the Switch would have not become the outstanding console it is.

I’m with you for the second and third game, they are still fun to play and totally functional in their original form.
I’d say that the first game can only be enjoyed in it‘s remade form though at least if you‘re going for all the emeralds. With checkpoints that don‘t save your progress the original quickly becomes so frustrating that you stop bothering to continue.

Good. Honestly, this sounds like one of these lawsuits where a lot of people just tried to make money off. I understand if car companies get sued for cheating on emission numbers because that actually threatens your health in a way - a thing that game controllers do not. And whilst it is incredibly annoying to the customer at least Nintendo offered free repairs for the joy cons so it‘s not like they simply said it wasn‘t their problem.

I mean if Sega doesn‘t make a new adventure game the fans will step in and make one. That‘s much better than games like Enchanted Portals where they basically copied a game and made it like a sequel to a popular franchise so they can make money off of it.

Can this game be recommended to somebody who is not into turn-based RPGs? Or do these fights make up the majority of the game?

I would love to play this given that it‘s universally praised but unfortunately RPGs are not my thing. Super Paper Mario was fantastic but that was as we all know more like a storydriven platformer or puzzle solving game.

They nailed pretty much everything you could hope for in a Crash sequel but they could have easily made this into two games. Levels could have been shorter and they could have removed some of these hard-to-find crates. That kind of missing refinement keeps the game from being a classic.

If these practices ought to stop people should stop buying these kinds of expansions. But they won‘t and Disney knows this very well.

It still amazes me how Mario Kart is still in the top ten or twenty of every sales chart. At the end of May the core game will be 10 (!) years old.

So to summarize: Sonic is Wrap, Knuckles the Enchilada gets his own series.

I don‘t see it this as rushed. Wasn‘t it perfectly playable at launch with 30 fps? If so, then this is more a like an added bonus.

I‘m all in for opening the mind and going new ways but despite sticking to the formula gameplay wise I don‘t see how Twilight Princess isn‘t doing it‘s own thing when looking at the story. Midna is a good example of great character development and in the end that is the kind of thing I would want in a Zelda-movie.

I don‘t care if it plays differently. They knew exactly that they were stealing designs it‘s just a shame that in today‘s world nobody seems to care. Make it so that people have a feeling like they are familiar with it and it will sell. Much like pop-music in that regard.

I love how the main character goes from shooting the 'mons in the face with a bazooka to carefully patting their heads. And they even let some of the little creatures work for them, lol.
This is wrong on so many levels but I‘d be lying if I said I didn‘t enjoy watching this. And the title is just the cherry on top.

I would love to play a 3D game with DK in that city. Please, make it happen Nintendo!

I really wonder (no pun intended) what they have in store for the next 3D installment. Odyssey was a true love letter to the series and it felt like a movie when playing through it. I don‘t see it being topped anytime soon.
That said, Nintendo does know how to surprise us every now and then so who knows…
