Great that they went back and got the performance up to par. Ive had this on my ROG Ally X for quite some time but still havent had the chance to play it. Backlog woes be like...
Definitely haven't been lucky with completing the last few sets they released, but its always fun to crack open a 10 pack on new sets with my little one and see how excited she gets when its a new card.
I loved this when it came out for the Switch, but never ended up finishing it. I thought about going back to it just this weekend, but knowing a Switch 2 upgrade is in route, ill wait until then.
I finished off Metroid Prime 4 in the middle of the week, and for the first time, didn't really have an idea of what I was going to play next. I ended up picking Bravely Default II, a game I picked up physical years ago for a great price, and never got around to playing it. That should keep me busy for a few weeks if the game is to my liking.
Oh wow, some Elden Ring Switch 2 news! Im glad to hear the latest build is looking good and I hope that means it'll be ready by summer time. It feels like we'll get a release date on the next Direct.
Ive been doing these with ny daughter after school. We've been doing Pokémon TCG pocket since inception, and since shes very into the next Mario movie, we been opening the app daily for the cards. So far, ive gotten a green shell and warp pipe.
This could be a great one for my daughter. I just hope that theres spoken dialogue since she is still learning to read and pronounce words. Im keeping a close eye on this one.
What a hard thing to hear. I think people forget, especially at the higher level, that words have impact, and can drastically damage someone's mental and emotional state. Working in a place/department that has a deficit/deficiencies tend to breed terrible and toxic conversations that simply have to be had in order to have long term survival.
I've worked on both sides, both the staff and managerial side of various establishments. I can say that these conversations are universal across many industries.
Ive had my pay reduced due to a company operating at a loss to help with the deficit. Ive had to have furlough conversations during the pandemic.
Now that im aware of his next project, ive made a note to keep tabs on it to see how it plays out.
Nothing here sounds like a bad thing. Thumbs up from me! This puts much of the purchasing on parents/guardians.
I live in the US, so I can only hope something like this comes stateside too. Im a big supporter of restricting access to social media and gambling/loot boxes for minors, because I personally believe being exposed to this stuff too early is not a good thing.
Its great to hear the game is seeing great success so far om the Switch 2. The pokemon name is definitely doing much of the heavy lifting, but the fact that its a well made cozy game makes it all the more sweet.
I know when I finally get around to purchasing it, I'll enjoy it a lot based on the reviews ive read.
Playing the demo sold me on the game and quite possibly the series, but playing the demo on both Switch 2 and ROG Ally X has me leaning towards the latter. Better, more stable performance there.
Happy to see Capcom supporting the Switch 2 so wonderfully!
I definitely want to play this one and will be interested to see how it reviews on the Switch 2. I was originally going to buy it as an Xbox Play Anywhere title, but because I don't really get time to play the console, that leaves me the ROG Ally X, where I read it doesn't really run well.
Well, I finished Cyberpunk on the Switch 2 leading up to the weekend! Theres still some side quests and the Phantom Liberty quest line id like to go back do, but its another game from the backlog that I can mark as completed.
I finally restarted Metroid Prime 4 this morning, and im quite confident ill get to the credits this time around.
Fantasy Life post game content and Diablo 3 will be mixed in, and im excited to start recent additions to my collection, Guardians of Azuma and Kirby Forgotten Land.
Im definitely interested if thats the case. Between xbox and pc, I probably have nearly 1000 games, so itll be nice to have them all available to play on a single console. Obviously, price will play a big role in to whether I consider purchasing.
Pokopia is probably the only one ill bite on in a few months. Had i not bought Guardians of Azuma and Kirby Forgotten Land for Switch 2 earlier this week, I might have picked it up day one.
This doesnt sway my choice of buying it, because I dont have FOMO, lol. Ill play whatever is available at the time I am playing it, and I will lose no sleep in the process.
Perhaps my daughter will want to play it again 6/8 months down the road and there will be different content to go after.
I got this fairly cheap on Steam, and wow, was i surprised how much i liked it. I wasnt expecting something that had a real Pixar-esque character vibe to be as challenging as it was. Glad to hear this will be available on the Switch 2.
The first game was quite simple and enjoyable, but also short as well. The original was a palete cleanser for me between bigger, meatier titles. Ill probably get this game later on when the backlog starts getting back under control.
I have this on my ROG Ally X, just haven't gotten around to playing it. Played the first one for dozens of hours between Switch and PC, so im sure the second will be more of the same.
@dugan - as of this morning, 83 hours, haha. We definitely took the path less traveled, plus my daughter is only 6, so getting around takes a bit longer.
My daughter and I completed the story on Fantasy Life, and I was surprised that she was into all the post game content they offer up. Our adventure carries on!
For me, ill probably switch between Cyberpunk and Diablo III... perhaps sprinkle in some more Dead Cells because I feel like any run could be my first completion.
That RE bundle has been looking awfully enticing too.
What a week of releases! 3 RE games, Fallout, and Pokémon to choose from. I'm a little behind on RE games, so the bundle for all 3 for $89.99 is really appealing.
I already have Fallout 3 & 4 on the ROG Ally X, and I got them much cheaper than the Switch 2 asking price. Still, its awesome to have a game like this for portable play, and for Nintendo console only players, this version sounds like itll be great.
Let's see... I was five years old when we got an NES for Christmas (1987), but I cant remember if we got Zelda that Christmas or shortly after. It was one of my favorite games when I was young, and I still play it from time to time. Great memories!
Its more Cyberpunk for me and Fantasy Life for me and my daughter. Im glad she likes to join me from time to time.
Diablo 3 and Dead Cells have taken a back seat for now. Trying to mark Dead Cells as complete but just cant seem to beat it. Ive had a couple of great runs, only to be thwarted at the very end. Ill pick it back up soon though.
Ouch! I just finished the game and I sunk 100+ hours into it. While I still have plenty of content to chip away at in the game, im prioritizing the backlog and dont see a revisit to XCX anytime soon.
@Yalloo - So you use your Switch itself to keep track of unfinished/unplayed games, or do you use some type of tracking (written, website, etc)?
Ive been using a site to help me keep track, and ive been trying to come up with a definition for when I can mark a claim as complete. Hitting the credits is simple for most, but then what about retro games collections... is it complete when you've played them all, gotten all high scores, or if the games have endings, get to the end of then all? UFO 50 seems like itll be mark as playing/incomplete forever, haha.
Its an elusive three day weekend for me, and I definitely intend to use some of it for gaming. Im about 20 hours into Cyberpunk 2077 on the Switch 2, so that'll probably continue playing that.
After recently rolling credits on the original Hades, Ive now returned to Dead Cells to see if I can get to the end of that.
I reference my backlog quite a bit, and at the moment, 45 games are remaining. Some ive started and didnt jive with, others are collections with multiple games that are half finished, and a few that I didnt like and likely wont return to. Many of these were purchased when there were large discounts or were gifted.
Wow, waking up to so many awesome news articles was a great way to start Friday! The Switch 2 updates are enough to interest me into picking this title up in the future. I think I only played the first one and fourth one.
I put in quite a few hours into the Switch 2 demo, both handheld and docked. Handheld is definitely playable, but the softer visuals may not be for everyone.
Since the same demo is available on PC and I have a ROG Ally X, I tried that this morning and its notably better. If I bump it down from 1080p to 900p, I was seeing 40+ fps with it. This makes the decision very easy for me for where I plan to buy it.
For those who dont have options and only have a Switch 2, it still feels like a solid way to play it.
This gives me great confidence in the game, thank you for the preview! I think both my daughter and I will enjoy it, as she really enjoyed watching me play Dragon Quest Builders 2.
Definitely on my radar. I am curious how long the game will be though. I know the Builders games are fairly meaty, and im hoping this will be the same.
I played through the very generous demo both handheld and docked, and I really enjoyed my time with it. I haven't played a MHS game before, but it has made me very interested in the series. Ive added this to the wishlist for now.

Re: PSA: Switch 2 Update Adds Handheld Mode Boost, Here's How To Use It
I just enabled it and resumed play on Bravely Default II, and it definitely looks a little sharper. Ill probably finish the game this way.
Also quickly tried it on Dead Cells, Tunic and Diablo 3, and they all seem to look better than I remember too.
Ill be curious to hear more from others as this mode is explored more.

Re: Pokémon Pokopia Switch 2 New Pre-Order Bonus Revealed (US)
People complaining about key cards every article feels like the new 'I make $xxxx weekly, find out how you can to!' comments.
