Getting Pikmin 4 for Xmas, so glad to see Miyamoto's dream IP finally doing the numbers it deserves.

This is the only Pokémon game I actively regret buying. 5 patches later and they still refuse to fix the game's abysmal performance. Unbelievable.

TGA '23 showed me that Nintendo needs to announce Switch 2 soon. All of the most interesting multiplat games were not on Switch.

And thus, the game is still smeared with Vaseline...oh well.

So, either I have terrible luck or there is NOTHING on the Arkham Trilogy cart.

I got the physical edition and popped it into my Switch...Asylum does NOT load. I returned it for a 2nd copy and again, the ONE game that is supposed to be on the cart does not load. Either I have bad luck or WB games shipped a blank cart or a cart that requires an unlock that does not yet exist.

Wtf.

Did anyone get this physically? If so are you able to load/play Asylum from the cart?

@Kekshook They probably took more preorders than they had planned stock.

My order just reads as "order recieved" when by now you would usually at least get an estimated shipping date...eh, Amazon has been off their game (in the US) for a while now.

@Athropos yea, sems like this release is coming in hot. No previews, or reviews a few days out and very little actual gameplay. Usually not a good sign but I have faith in this one.

The 1.3.0 update patch for MGS2 is currently unavailable for Switch. All other 1.3.0 updates are now live. Hopefully the MGS2 patch will go live by weeks end.

Let's be honest, the 2 GOTY contenders this year are TOTK and Baldurs Gate 3.

That said, Don't be surprised if it's not Zelda...the industry loves a comeback story.

Fortnite just might be the ultimate crossover game...which is why I often wish it was in a different genre.

I still can't get over characters like Ryu using assault and sniper rifles...

@LikelySatan If the next collection is on Switch 2, then Konami would have to go out their way to make the next collection run poorly on the system.

They can barely port PS2 games to Switch and ppl actually want them to try porting MGS4/MGSV to this old hardware??

I had such high hopes for Portia, but even after all of the patches they still couldn't get it running at a smooth 30fps.

I told myself I'd wait for reviews with the next game before I'd even think of getting Sandrock. Maybe I'll pick it up on a deep discount if it's fixed after several patches

I'm just ready for Switch 2 at this point. I'm so so tired of hoping and praying that devs can actually run a game on this ancient hardware.

Please let vol. 2 be for Switch 2 🙏

@HammerGalladeBro All-star Mob felt more and more like an impossibility with each new DLC character they added.

They could have at least given you a few rest areas to regain some health but as it is now it's just impossible.

So so glad they brought this game to Switch. When they first showed it off I immediately thought it looked like a perfect game for Switch and now it's finally here!

@Astral-Grain "The Document of MGS2", at the time, was one of the greatest Videogame documents I've ever seen. I actually own a copy.

@LadyCharlie Agreed...and outside of this game being like 20x bigger in file size and (inexplicably) running at a lower, but stable, framerate I would argue that the bonus material and content for this collection is mostly on par with that of the collections you mentioned.

I get you are upset about the ***** practice of using the cheapest cart and the ridiculous lack of 60FPS...I am too! But as far as actual content/bonus content provided, this is probably one of the better collections when compared to other collections, e.g. Nintendo's own Super Mario 3D All Stars...talk about actual barebones.

@LadyCharlie They've included all of the MSX/NES games as well as Masterbooks, scripts and both Digital Interactive novels.

How is that not at or above the bare minimum? I don't know any other collection that includes as much bonus material/games

@AZYotes5013 A stable 30fps will always feel "good". It's when the stability drops below 30fps (especially frequently) that it becomes a problem. That said these games have very stable framerates (for the most part). People just like to complain complain about anything nowadays

Again, as much as it sucks that you have to download these games, they are still all natively developed on Switch. Meaning it could have been worse. They could have made them cloud versions like SE did with KH on Switch.

As much as I don't like having to download every game, it's at least better than what SE did with the Kingdom Hearts Saga...still Konami could have at least included MGS1 on cart.

Not a fan of this kind of extremely limited collections. I expect to see this on eBay for over $500 by weeks end. 🙄

I thought the image blurriness was a stylistic choice and was hoping to turn it off in the options. Kinda bummed to hear it's just poor IQ/ image sampling

At this point I'm just praying MGS Collection turns out at least half decent on Switch.
