Also, despite the review score on this site, the game has gotten fairly high marks in other reviews.

The campaign to hate on and destroy this game because of a casting choice is real.

@TheWokesterGamer I get that it's a different game and different reviewer, but there's no way on earth this game is on par with Yakuza Kiwami 3.

If this game is a "6", K3 is at least a "7" and If K3 is a "6", this game is at most a "5".

Meh, I don't really care about one side character being replaced (They replaced an entire Main character in the Part 4 re-release). Yakuza 3 was the game that introduced me to the series and made me fall in love with the world and it's stories and characters.

There's no way I'm missing out on this Remake, and it's entirely new side story!

I can count at least 6 or 7 games from that infographic that interests me...how again were people mad at this Direct??

Still waiting for RE2/3/4 Remake, Mega Man 12, Okami 2, Monster Hunter Next (or Wilds), and Possibly the next Onimusha.

This stinks. I'm in the U.S. but even I can relate to the death of a dedicated physical videogame store, as our own Gamestop has been closing many locations.

That said, we at least still have physical games available for online purchase. Physical forever...!!

@blockfight If I buy it, it won't be a censored version. I'll wait to see how things play out on Switch 2 and will go from there. It does indeed look like a great game...such a shame

@progx But again, that's extremely short-sighted. Sure you might save some $$$ in the short term but you risk losing much more in the long term if sales plummet because (Adult) gamers refuse to buy a censored version for ALL other regions.

They made the wrong call and I hope other developers/publishers don't end up making the same stupid decision in the future

@tabris95 If that's the case that was incredibly stupid and short-sighted of then. The amount of money they potentially saved is miniscule to the amount of sales they will have potentially lost because of this.

Censoring a Mature rated game for Adult gamers in 2026 is utterly ridiculous. I seriously hope they can work something out with Nintendo because this is definitely going to affect their sales in a negative way.

They could at least give the option for users to self-censor

If you want even MORE on-rails shooter goodness on Switch you should check out a game called "Rogue Flight". It's basically Starfox mixed with an 80s Anime and it's Awesome!

@Lord Actually the best thing he did was push for Wii Sports to be a Wii pack-in game. Nintendo of Japan initially wanted to sell it separately but Reggie pushed for including it in every system...and the rest was history

@Uncle_Franklin Mario Tennis Fever comes out in a few weeks and they've already announced games like Yoshi's Storybook, Tomadachi Life, Rythm Heaven, Splatoon Raiders, and Mario Wonder Switch 2 edition for "early" 2026.

If you want more announcements you'll have to wait for the next Direct (rumored to be in February)

This is actually EXACTLY what I was waiting for. I have the game on PS5 and beat the "first" game in the collection and just did not want to start all the way over on Switch 2.

Now that I can carry over my progression, I will absolutely be picking this up on Switch 2 now!

Japan; It's Nintendo's world, Sony's just living in it.

They managed to fit the entire PS1 game (FMVs and all) on a tiny DS cart W/Added Content!

Though I'm sure there's someone out there still upset that it's missing the Infamous Basement Theme from the Director's Cut 😂😅

I wish they kept the Song from the Initial reveal trailer "Blind Will Lead the Blind" - Must Save Jane. Such an appropriately moody song for this kind of game...

That said looking forward to picking up the confirmed Physical Edition later this year 👍

There will never be another Reggie. Nor should there be. That said, I hope she has more of a presence than Bowser did and has just as much of an impact as Reggie did (Don't forget he gave us Wii Sports as a pack-in).

Big shoes to fill, but hopefully, she does her best.

Considering we STILL don't have YouTube for Switch 2 (it's still coming supposedly), I'm not surprised. Nintendo seems to be moving further and further away from media based apps on their platform.

I heard the game was, unfortunately, a broken buggy mess. I was fully interested in getting the game prior to reviews. Will probably pick it up on sale, if the bugs are fixed.

😂 They absolutely know everyone was/is waiting for update patches for some/all of their Xenoblade Xenoblade Chronicles titles.

Hopefully, those "projects" for next year include just that.

If you Really want a dpad you can soft mod a dpad cap onto it. Amazon sells them at an inexpensive price.

I speak from experience as that's what I did to both my Switch OLED and Switch 2.

@dskatter Same, this is the game that introduced me to the franchise. After finishing the game, I was hooked and have been ever since! Can't wait for this release next year

When it cones to taking away JOBS from actual talented human beings that could do a MUCH better job, then yes, I'm a bit peeved.

The crap they put in COD BLOPS 6 is a good example of using A.I. very poorly and lazily.

@RoboCube In all honesty I wouldn't have minded a small delay, if it meant getting MK4 on the cart. I mean, we are already paying more for the Dwitch 2 edition. Might as well get our money's worth.

A Hat In Time is such a great little indie platformer. Really hoping Nintendo gets this one officially supported for Switch 2!

Yes it's a great game, but they never made a Switch 2 Edition. They put the Switch 1 version on Switch 2 (with higher res/fps) and called it a day.

The game on Switch 2 is missing a ton a vfx, shadows and lighting that were present in the PS4 version. Hopefully they have the decency to AT LEAST make the Switch 2 version on par with the PS4, a 14 yo console. We should expect better/more.

This game is one of the most technically and artistically impressive games ever (in lighting, vfx and architecture) with the best Soundtrack since Prime 1.

@JayJ I really hope that's not the case. MASSIVE Studios set out to make a statement wth Star Wars Outlaws; that AAA Next Gen games CAN look and run, relatively, well on Switch 2, a $450 tablet.

And for the most part, they very much succeeded. Hopefully the team that Ported AC: Shadows has the same ambition and talent as MASSIVE studios (not saying the game isn't great, but it can be better)

I've experienced this and what I noticed was that the game cart and Switch 2 were VERY hot. Also the fan was kicking in double time.

I think there's a memory leak that causes the game to overheat the system and the system eventually crashes.

I took out the game, waited a couple of hours and tried again.Had a 2 hr session with no issues at all. Definitely needs an update patch to fix this though.
