@Moistnado Considering Switch 2 is backwards compatible I would sure hope it still supports Amiibo.

Any word on a physical edition? I'll pick that up if/when they decide to offer it for those of us that actually like owning our games.

LEGO City Undercover is a great Open World game for kids (before they lose their innocence with the typical Open World games that We play..)

Nintendo has been known to literally sit on games for months (if not years). They exist, and are done.

When they release is a matter of when Nintendo chooses to begin the build up to MP4: Beyond.

Geez Nintendo, Just upload the SSBU OST and call it a day.

Got a 1.5TB card a while back and have been extremely impressed.

Fun fact: Tales of Graces was previously a Playstation 3 exclusive. This will be the first time it's been released on other Platforms.

Here's to hoping Switch 2 will allow Switch games to be upgraded. Asides from BC (which is confirmed) that's my most wanted feature from Switch 2.

@Shrek_Realista Good point. "Double Dipping" has (unfortunately) become a very real strategy for Publishers when it comes to Switch owners and game release schedules...😮‍💨

@MARl0 Bimmy and Jimmy are most likely a paid DLC while there will still be an overall free DLC update (motion comic, new shops, accessories, etc.) for ALL players.

Unless you just "hate" the Xenoblade Chronicles franchise, this should really be a no-brainer, esp now that it's bringing back online and Xenoblade fans can finally play together again (its a pretty cool/chill online experience)

Yeah, really wish they would have made the different rangers have different moves considering they (originallly) had different martial arts training and used different weapons...this is definitely a "wait for reviews" kind of game.

King Bob has been making amazing Smash Bros/Nintendo trailers for a while now. I highly suggest you guys give his YouTube channel and look. His Banjo-Kazooie trailer in particular is extremely well done (someone seriously needs to hire him)

I suggest everyone updates unless they want their ability to download while in sleep mode disabled (speaking from 1st hand experience).

@Mariotag I highly doubt the Sonic 3 Movie level is exclusive to digital deluxe owners. They would be screwing over not just physical owners but also regular digital owners. Which combine is at least 50%-60% of their sales.

If you like the look of this game, you should check out the title "Forgotton Anne" on Switch. It looks and plays very similar to this and has a great artstyle.

Everyone has to remember, Switch was in a unique position to rely heavily on both Wii U ports and PS3/360/PS4 ports to help flesh out their library.

Nintendo isn't going to have that same luxury with Switch 2. Sure there are few more Wii U era ports they can lean on and few more PS4 era ports/remasters that they can rely on but it's not much and the well will eventually dry up by 2027. It's going to be a very different situation for Switch 2 regarding 3rd party port support.

Will still be waiting for the reviews but this does sound (and look) very promising.

So, I canceled my preorder. If developers and publishers want Switch owners' sales, they should actually earn them, by putting out quality products instead of simply relying on fanbases/install base sizes.

If the Switch version turns out to actually have quality put into it, I'll happily pick it up.

At this point we need Switch specific reviews. Sure the PS5 version looks and runs great but that isn't always the case on Switch. Hopefully this port turns out better than Sonic Frontiers did

At this point, I'm skeptical about every 2025 Switch game...I halfway expect every one of them to have a "Switch 2" version in development...thus, I'm not preordering anything in 2025 just yet.

Without Iwata and Sakurai...Nintendo wouldn't be the Nintendo as we know it today. No disrespect to Miyamoto-san but these two truly brought Nintendo into the Modern era (post N64)

@Doctor-Moo well, you can install your own dpad caps if you really want. Skull & Co has some good solutions.

@Znake Yea but it also has more RAM than a Series S and is using more modern hardware, including DLSS.

You have to take all of the hardware into account and how it uses/optimizes all of it. That's why you can get something like DOOM Eternal or The Witcher 3 running on Switch. Steam Deck having more RAM means nothing by itself.

@RygelXVIII Not every system has to reinvent the wheel or include some whacky gimmick that will be forgotten about after 2 years.

There can be New software based features that extend gaming experiences. I would be happy with a Switch that could actually play games without looking blurry or struggling to maintain 30fps.
