I think this is a lot better of a solution than the primary and secondary system thing Nintendo had going before.

I would love to see a Fire Emblem Genealogy of the Holy War remake, The Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD on Switch, F-Zero GX HD remaster with online play, and Metroid Prime 2 and 3 Remastered.

It's been one hell of a generation. 2017-2023 had so many bangers, and even as the Switch is winding down, it's doing so gracefully. Third party support has also been great on Switch, probably the best on Nintendo since SNES.

Switch 2 is a boring name but an effective one. At least no consumers will be confused unlike the Wii U.

I'm curious how 24 racers will affect item balance and retro tracks. With more racers in the middle of the pack, there will be some dissatisfied players getting green shells and bananas more often. I also wonder how many coins will be on tracks if they return. I feel there would need to be quite a lot more. As for retro tracks, I feel like some will need to be widened to accommodate more players.

The vast majority of people haven't been paying attention to any leaks. They won't have any impact.

I don't think the Switch 2 will light up the world as much as the Switch 1 with so many more competitors nowadays, but if it has a great first party lineup, it'll be another 100+ million seller.

Mario Bros. Circuit looks like a promising track. I'm digging DK's movie design. I think the graphics will look better. I blame YouTube compression.

Both Xbox and PlayStation have subscription services while also allowing for older games to be purchased individually. Nintendo should follow that route.

Resident Evil 4 defined the 2000's and remains one of the best games ever.

I think we'll see a teaser for the next Nintendo system this month with a full blown reveal in February. I expect Mario Kart to be the big launch title with the next 3D Mario out this holiday.

Dragon Quest is a force of nature in Japan. A very well rounded list. I'm surprised to see Balatro so low, but I guess it appeals more to Western sensibilities.
