Game key cards are the most disappointing thing about the Switch 2.

I think that people are melting down over nothing. It was a solid showcase of third party games. Monster Hunter Stories, two Square Enix RPGs, new Katamari, Pac-man World 2 Re-Pac, and ports of Yakuza, Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, and Persona 3 Reload. Plus a new HW trailer. A respectable 7/10 showing.

Super pumped for more Pac-man World.

Switching between Elliot and Faie has me intrigued. An eventual purchase.

The Octopath Travler games are as reliably solid RPGs as you can get.

Still no release date is surprising. I expect a September Nintendo Direct with a lot of release dates for this, Kirby Air Riders, and Metroid Prime 4.

The extra content seems to be better than I expected, but I really wish we had gotten at least one more new board. Also I respectfully disagree with the reviewer about games going quick in Jamboree. Switching between Superstars and Jamboree, Superstars matches are quite a bit quicker.

Just over 15 so far. This is a game that I'll be playing for a decade to come so I'm not in a rush to burn out. I like playing 5-10 or so hours of Mario Kart a month, and that time builds up massively over the years.

I missed out on these themes the first time around. Time to go for them.

What a downer of an update. I prefer to play 3 laps around a track, but Nintendo wants that to be as difficult as possible to do online.

Drag x Drive doesn't look too inspired, but I'll give it a go.

Not yet. I've placed second. But I haven't played too much of the game yet. 15 or so, about half that time in single player.

If a third party game is a game key card I'd rather buy it on another system. Cyberpunk and Fast Fusion are the only third party games that currently interest me.

Definitely! DK Bananza looks to be the definitive Switch 2 game of 2025.

Donkey Kong Bananza is looking like the Switch 2's Game of the Year. What an amazing Nintendo Direct.

This pretty much confirms no general Direct. Still excited to learn more about DK.

So far I'm still feeling that 8 Deluxe and Double Dash are my favorites. It's still up for debate if World or DS is my third favorite.

I don't need 3 stars right away since I enjoy replaying Grand Prixes and can always go back for 3 stars.

So far I'd say Cheep Cheep Falls. Driving on the fast water is exhilarating, and the track is gorgeous.

Nintendo hasn't been handling these recasts the bests. Seems like the VAs are consistently surprised that they've been recast signaling a lack of transparency.

I thought as much. Game looks gorgeous on Switch 2 but having content locked behind as app is ass backwards.

I love most of the new tracks and Knockout Tour as well as Free Roam are winners, but I dislike that so many online races have intermissions.

I dabbled in Tour but never never get into it. I played one of the Arcade games once and had fun with it for what it was.

Definitely playing a ton of Mario Kart on day 1!

The original Splatoon was such a fresh experience and still the Splatoon I've put the most time into. Love the Kraken in Splatoon 1. Also shout-outs to the final boss for being one of the best in any game ever.

Mario Kart 7 was a great revamp of the formula, and I'll certainly miss kart customizations and underwater driving going forward. Its Star Cup is all bangers. I love the then newly introduced section tracks with Rainbow Road being my favorite in the franchise.

I loved Mario Kart 8 on Wii U and put in over 200 hours on it, but it's certainly been topped by 8 Deluxe with its 96 tracks and a proper battle mode. Standout tracks for me are Thwomp Ruins, Toad Harbor, Dolphin Shoals, Mount Wario, Cloudtop Cruise, Bowser's Castle, Superbell Subway, Wild Woods, Ninja Hideaway, and Yoshi's Island. So many bangers. And seeing retros become more ambitious was the cherry on top. Cheese Land, Ribbon Road, Yoshi Valley, N64 Rainbow Road, Waluigi Stadium, and SNES Bowser Castle 3 are some of the best remakes in Mario Kart history.

Definitely shocking that Mario Kart World was in development for Switch 1.
