This is nowhere near as interesting as NES Remix to me, but it's an eventual buy.

The Ace Combat on 3DS was my first exposure to the franchise, and I enjoyed it quite a bit, so I'll be picking this up eventually.

I'm glad to see Nintendo Life pointing out that not everyone has the financial means to purchase the latest hardware and having free online on 3DS and Wii U shut down really hurts those people.

There is too little time in the day to spend too much time being frustrated at one part of a game. I have no problem using save states and rewind to progress.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is a force of nature.

I'm potentially intrigued. It's been a while since Nintendo dipped its toes into M rated territory, I believe since Devil's Third.

Great news for Paper Mario, and the Switch decline isn't terrible by any means given the age of the hardware.

Castlevania Symphony of the Night, Disney Afternoon Collection, Jet Set Radio, Madworld, and Pizza Tower make a lot of sense and could still happen.

Mario & Luigi games have always had rather plain cover arts so this is par for the course.

Some people need to learn that if they need to spew crap, they should do so into a toilet, not by threatening others.

This is a game that passed me by back in thd day so I'll happily play it now, but I'll pick it up for Xbox instead to play at 60 FPS.

Metroid Prime 4, Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Mario & Luigi Brothership, and Super Mario Party Jamboree on the first party front and Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection, Ace Attorney Investigations, and Dragon Quest HD-2D remakes on the third party front made it a great presentation for me.

I certainly didn't expect Nintendo to revisit this game's artstyle in 2024 and for a game where you play as Zelda no less.

This Direct was a fantastic sendoff to the Switch.

Mario & Luigi, Mario Party, 2D Zelda, Metroid Prime 4.

And on the third party front, Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection, Ace Attorney Investigations, and the Dragon Quest HD-2D remakes.

A hearty 9/10 from me.

I'm very happy to have DKC Returns in HD. It's a brilliant game, especially the mine cart world.

Announcing Metroid Prime 4 was an amazing way to end the Direct.

A Zelda game where you play as Zelda is a dream come true.

This was a completely unexpected announcement. I'm loving the new art style.

Low expectations,but I'd like to be surprised. I'm still feeling relatively confident in at least predicting a new Mario Party.

The 3DS had a really graceful sendoff, and I hope Nintendo repeats their strategy.

I think there is still room for a new Mario Party, a Fire Emblem remake, Prime 2/3 remasters plus potentially the Wii U Zelda remakes on Switch.

I'm expecting Metroid Prime 2 Remastered and maybe 3 too.

One or both HD Zelda ports will make their way over from the Wii U.

A new Kirby game is usually a lock for late in a Nintendo's system life.

And a new Mario Party makes too much sense to sell a few million before the Switch sunsets.

In my mind, anything before HD is retro.

Even some early 360 and PS3 games are starting to feel retro now, though.

I can do 48 in a single session but 96 is too much.

Doesn't look the best. A better Bleach game should be made now that Bleach is back in the spotlight with the anime adaptation of The Thousand Year Blood War.

I'm not into the giant Lego pieces that the Mario sets had so this Zelda set looks like a big improvement.

Excited to play The Thousand Year Door for the first time.

I enjoyed Let's Go and Arceus, but the mainline gen 8 and 9 games are only good but not great. I hope gen 10 is more ambitious.

It's funny that it took Nintendo so long to add the first Super Mario Land.

It's crazy to me how many people in the comments section are against Mario Maker because they don't know how to navigate the game.

I've found 100 amazing people I follow in game, and I'm always happy to see a new upload from them.

Plus the popular tab has quite a few good levels, and detailed search allows you to filter by popularity, game style, game theme, and difficulty.

There are so many good levels that I continue to get thousands of hours of gameplay out of.

I would love a 3D Mario Maker, but I'd also be happy to see another 2D entry since we still have so many missing features in 2D like placeable water, lava, and poison tiles, diagonal pipes, and tons of enemies plus themes like mountain and beach.

Looks like a great successor to NES Remix.

Hi-Fi Rush is one of the best games to come from one of Microsoft's studios in years, so it's a shame to see Tango Gameworks meet such a sudden end.

@mariomaster96 Absolutely, profits are the most important, but when the all time hardware sales throne is right there, you might as well go for it too.

If Nintendo wants to surpass PS2's sales, which I think they might be going for, then I think yes, one more holiday season for the Switch is warranted.

I think we'll mostly see remakes, but if I had to take a stab at a new game for the holiday season, then I'll say Mario Party since it's been 3 years since Superstars which was 3 years after Super, and Mario Party is a proven success sales wise in the Switch era.

I'm thinking that Metroid Prime 2 Remastered and Metroid Prime 3 Remastered will be revealed in the June Direct.

I'm expecting a similar schedule to the Switch with an announcement in October, presentation next January, and release next March.
