Re: Fans Are Asking Nintendo To Refund Xenoblade Chronicles X's Switch 2 Upgrade

I honestly felt it looked great in handheld. Smooth framerate and much sharper text. After reading some complaints I looked closer and I can see some issues, but I dunno, the game still looks really great overall so I’m not really bothered.

If they wanna do a patch to improve it (and the pop-in, which I find much more noticeable but still not a big issue) I’ll take it, but I can’t imagine demanding a refund over it.

Re: Community: Pokémon Turns 30 Soon - Send Us Your Pocket Monster Memories

I remember getting Pokémon blue for my twin brother for Christmas. I had no idea what it even was. When I saw how fun it was I quickly went and got a copy of red for myself and ended up getting the full Pokédex, with the exception of Mew.

Then I remember tossing basic Pokeballs at Mewtwo in ruby or one of the DS games on a car trip. My battery started showing low so I figured I’d toss balls until it died, as there was no chance I’d get him. Of course he was trapped soon after and I had to pray my battery lasted until I could save in order to keep my Mewtwo in a basic ball!

And finally the first time I encountered Cynthia in Pokémon Pearl and heard that awesome theme song play as she completely destroyed my team haha.

Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Metroid Prime 4: Beyond?

It’s undeniably a great looking, well made game, with tons of details, stuff to scan. My only criticism (at maybe 6 hours in) is that it’s very linear. Any time I see a “side door”, I expect it to be a save room, and it almost always is. Would be nice if the maps had a few more paths to explore. Maybe they open up eventually?

Re: Opinion: Why Focus On Silksong's Difficulty When We Need To Talk About How Cute It is?

I’ve gotten into a habit of not attacking an enemy until it attacks me first. They’re just all so adorable and I feel bad taking the first swing haha.

And while the game is definitely hard, I feel like it leaves a much more lasting impression. Donkey Kong Bonanza was fun, but every boss encounter was a pushover, which made them all very forgettable. With they could have spent a little more time tuning the difficulty for that one.

Re: Opinion: 10 Years Old Today, Undertale Has Been A Constant Source Of Fun & Learning Between Me & My Kids

It’s kinda crazy to think anyone that likes video games hasn’t played this one yet.

I’ll admit I was skeptical about the hype it had early on. I went into it doing my best to prove to myself that it was highly over rated and came away from it certain I had played one of the most important games of my life. The soundtrack alone is worth the experience, but then it does such a fantastic job of mixing familiar things with some of the most creative, imaginative stuff I’ve ever seen in a game. Congrats on 10 years of inspiring people Undertale and Toby Fox!
