I tried this demo with pretty low expectations, and was really surprised! The game looks nice, runs really well, combat feels good, and it seems to have an interesting story. I'm not sure how it holds up to the original as I haven't played it in ages, but I have to say I'm almost sold on it. (Oh and the loading before and after battles is a little long, but it's not too bad since you've got some decent music to listen to while waiting.)

I'd actually enjoy it if they gave Fi more casual lines of dialog. Stuff that isn't "tutorial" related, but just maybe have her comment on things in the world occasionally without slowing you down. I liked her as a character, but wished was around a little more outside of the constant reminders.

I've been playing this daily lately actually. Just recently realized how fun the multiplayer is.

Congrats to the development team! This has been on my wishlist for a while so I'll play it eventually for sure.

Apple Arcade does have a couple neat games, but it wasn't enough for me to stay subscribed to it. I really enjoyed Card of Darkness and Inmost.

Breath of the Wild looked pretty rough when we first saw it as well, but then didn't Monolith Soft get involved? Maybe they'll be able to help with this game as well.

Wario Land 3! And then probably Metal Gear: Ghost Babel. (I refuse to call it Metal Gear Solid.)

The art and animation in this look fantastic! I've been listening to the 2064 ROM soundtrack quite a bit since I played it. Maybe I'll give this one a try when it comes out.

Me and my girlfriend noticed that the current seasonal item is different in each of our games. She has a cool doll display, and I have a little pink lamp, so make sure to check with friends in case there are others to get.

This is actually one of my favorite games of all time. I've played through it four times now and will likely do it again eventually.

@Multi The first one goes on sale pretty often for pretty cheap, and it's totally worth a playthrough in my opinion.

Oooh can't wait! I've been playing multiplayer Stardew quite a bit lately.

I'm starting to slow down, and there are a few things I really wish they'd add or change. Might as well list em off...

1. Gyroids! Where are they? I didn't love them, but they felt like an important part of the Animal Crossing theme.
2. Coffee Shop! Another thing I didn't use much, but it really felt important. I loved going in at night and hearing the music. If they add it I hope they do a separate building instead of having it in the museum.
3. Another upgrade to Nooks. I feel like every previous game had more upgrades to Nook's store.
4. Additional stores/buildings. Even a few more optional ones would be nice, like having a permanent location for Kicks, Haircuts, Plants, Dreams, the Police Station, a spot for KK to play, etc...
5. More dialogue, especially when a villager is crafting, would be nice. The repetitive dialogues kinda detract from the personality that villagers are supposed to have. This could also be fixed by maybe having villagers craft in their houses less frequently. Knowing one villager is always crafting kinda makes them feel like robots.
6. Make seasonal recipes appear in more than just balloons. Having to grind balloons to get seasonal stuff really feels bad to me.
7. GROUP DECORATING! I'm not sure how they'd manage it, but being able to decorate and terraform outdoors with multiple players would put this game in another league entirely.
8. Observatory! I liked being able to interact with the night sky, creating constellations in Wild World. It would be neat if this appeared as a new room in the museum.
9. Rentable museum rooms. These were pretty cool in New Leaf as a way to decorate with weird seasonal items without having to use a room in your house. I'd love to see these come back.
10. Oh yeah, Mr. Resetti! I miss him.

Wow this is cool! It would be neat to have an actual cartridge with this chip and demo to check out on a SNES.

Ooh my fav DKC game! Also I'll have to give Nighshade a try at last.

It's totally fair for them to do this, but I really love listening to the soundtracks for Nintendo games so it would be nice if there was an official alternative to YouTube playlists.

Lately mine has been Heroes of the Storm. I don't even care if I win or lose any more, I just play cause it gets my mind focused on something.

I also like to replay Skyward Sword every couple years. Just finished my fourth play through. I think it has taught me to look past the bad and find the good in things.

Aw this is sad. Level-5 has made some fantastic games. The Layton series and Fantasy Life are some of my all-time favorites.

I just discovered Ikenfell today. That looks like it could be really good. Also should have a fantastic soundtrack.

I tried the demo this morning and it immediately made me wanna replay the whole game again. Gonna resist and hold off for a little sale though.

I would love to hear some of his music in Splatoon. Not all of it maybe, but a couple tracks would be fantastic.

I've been really enjoying this on PC but didn't wanna restart my game on the Switch. Guess I'll have to grab it when the cross-play is enabled.

I love mine and have played it a lot! The tiny screen isn't so easy on the eyes these days however.

I remember when 3DS first launched I decided to pass on it and wait for the Vita instead. Years later my Vita did okay, but it can't compare to the great games I eventually played on 3DS. Such a great console and I'll always keep that 3D slider maxed!

I played this a bit on Apple Arcade and totally agree with the review. The story bits are wonderful, but the actual gameplay was just too shallow to keep me going.

I'm currently on my 4th playthrough of this game! One of my favs. I honestly can't see how Nintendo could make it work on Switch though, unless it forces you to play with detached joycons.

I'm in the process of replaying Super Paper Mario, and it really doesn't hold up to how I remembered it. I enjoyed Sticker Star however and would probably put it at #3 if I had my own list. Going into that one with very low expectations helped a lot.

I always figured this game was overrated, but then I gave it a solid chance and loved it. It's once of those games that really sticks with you.

Don't think I would pay full price again to replay this, but maybe I'll get it on sale sometime. Really wish they had added some new "things" to collect though, like in the first two games. I got a little tired of gathering nothing but fruit after a while.

The console does have a nice look to it. Wish they had gone with an actual d-pad for the controller instead of that weird disc thing, but maybe it'll work alright.

Yeah I'm definitely feeling down about the lack of E3, but mainly just missing out on the excitement of new Nintendo stuff. It's been a weird summer for sure.

I was waiting on a fix for the performance issues many reviewers mentioned and maybe this is it! Been wanting to give this game a try for quite some time.

Yes! Donkey Kong Country! Also the Immortal is a really impressive NES game, but maaaan is it ever tough. I'll probably end up using the rewind feature a bit on that one.

I've got my left joycon packed up to be shipped out today for some bad drifting. It only started a couple months ago, but got hard to deal with very quickly. I ended up buying the very expensive pro controller so I can continue to play while it's away for repair. I hope it doesn't happen to my right one too!

I'm way too excited for this game.

@ChromaticDracula I've still got the original cart, so I can always play it that way, but I just love the idea of having all my favorites on the Switch.

Panel de Pon!?!? I was just thinking the other week about how it would be a perfect choice since they can't do Tetris Attack due to licensing stuff.

And Rygar! I wouldn't mind a couple more NES games, but that's a great choice if they can only do one.

I've been wondering lately if we'll ever see some new additions to this thing. If we do I've love to see Faxanadu at some point!

I got an email from Spotify the other day saying my account had been accessed from somewhere else with a link to restore my account by resetting my password. It was totally fake, and if I had used the link to change my password, I obviously would have had more problems.

Could these Nintendo account issues be related to a similar phishing scam?

This game actually looks pretty good, considering it takes a ton of inspiration from Splatoon. I'll probably give it a try.
