I was wondering when we might see some new Genesis games on here. I'd love it if they added Shadowrun and D&D: Warriors of the Eternal Sun sometime.

I've attempted this game a couple of times, but always lose interest early on. I'm really not sure why though, cause it's a very great looking game.

The DS had way too many great games. I’m really not sure I could narrow my list of favourites down to 10, let alone 5.

Thinking about it has made me wanna get a dsi xl or something. So I have a nice big screen for when I eventually get the urge to replay em again.

I remember for a while in the PS3 days every game was having to include a splash screen for a video codec. Imagine the amount of time the world has spent collectively viewing that stupid screen!

I'm always for less splash screens, unless they're covering a loading time, as they just make it longer for me to get to playing. I remember using a hack on Borderlands for PC cause the number of screens was so excessive.

Kinda surprising they didn't expect this. I know they want to be consistent with "A is confirm", but in this case I think it made sense to keep the original option.

I played through the tutorial and then deleted the app and threw my phone in the garbage.

From what I remember some of the costumes they had to censor originally are pretty cringy. Kinda wish they'd just redesign them completely or remove em haha.

Man I loved this game. I always felt it was a shame being on Wii U cause it wouldn't have gotten the sales it deserved. Maybe this will fix that.

I think the reason people are shocked by the review score, is because this series has been around for a long time, and people that love it REALLY love it. It's one of those rare franchises that has an immense amount of heart put into every entry. (Also Kiryu is one of the best video game protagonists of all time in my opinion.) They do have their flaws, but I've always found the good far outweighs the bad when it comes to these games.

@bring_on_branstons Same! The first one is still fantastic and revolutionary, but they just got better with each sequel in my opinion.

People don't like Donkey Kong Country 3? I think it's fantastic! Also incredible looking statue!

@RPGreg2600 oh yea I’ve seen it, but it’s still such a tiny font and it doesn’t seem to line up properly. Even just the Japanese version has much nicer looking text. It uses a big bold font for numbers and letters that looks pretty great.

I really wish I could give these games a try, but there's no way with that UI & font choice. How hard can it be to create a UI that compliments the game graphic style, pick a nice chunky pixel font, and then align the text to look good.

Kinda too bad, but maybe it's cause the original still looks and plays so well, and everyone probably already has it? I'm sure I'll get the urge to replay it at some point and will pick this up on sale so I can have it on the Switch. This is one of those games that I feel everyone should play though, it's a masterpiece.

I really liked this one on PS3! I remember getting to the last area and was having trouble so I grinded levels like crazy and then realized the game maybe hadn't told me about skills or something? I had a TON of points and once I finally used them all I was able to waltz through the end haha.

The world needs more Viewtiful Joe.

Good timing! I have a voucher expiring in August and wasn't sure what to use it on. Maybe I'll commit to Mario & Luigi.

The animation quality is kinda insane! I'd love to know who is working on it. Maybe Ubisoft is involved?

Best part of E3 was always the Nintendo conference. So excited for this!

I also hope this comes to NSO! I have the cart still so I could always just go back to that, but having this on my Switch would be pretty sweet.

The Super Gameboy feature were pretty cool though. I remember thinking the "help" sound effect was better when playing it on SNES but not sure if it was just my imagination.

All that matters is that it has horrible UI and the worst fonts they could find, so it can be consistent with all the other remakes they've done.

Seems like companies are so desperate for profits they're willing to ruin their own products to do it. Pretty sad state.

I'll always be happy to see a game run at 60fps, I think that's kinda the idea for performance outside of competitive stuff, but 30fps certainly doesn't hurt too much if the game itself is great. For this type of game it's probably a worthwhile sacrifice to have such gorgeous looking visuals.

(Plus we all know it'll get a 60fps patch once the new Switch is out, right???)

All of this sounds really good! I wonder if the new buttons are for detaching the joycons? With the switch (haha) to a 1080p screen, I wonder if the firmware UI will get a resolution upgrade.

I've been playing Paper Mario on the N64 app in anticipation for this. It seems to run at 30fps and feels fine. Honestly the Thousand Year Door visuals are so nice I'm pretty sure I won't mind the reduced fps.

I loved the first Corpse Party cause of the retro style they went with for the art and music. For some reason they abandoned that in all of the sequels and I haven't had any real interest in any of em. Too bad this one is also going in that direction.

They should probably try to find the original Guitar Hero on PS2 instead of that Wii one.
