This game is becoming the indie equivalent of Cyberpunk 2077

Xbox version is great, not sure what more the original developers could have added given the game isn’t a remake.

Not played the Switch version as I got it free with Rare replay on Xbox.

This game was the absolute nuts on GBA probably my favourite srpg of all time. Think they should release it soon, just get it out there, it’s been ready for ages and Ukraine does not care about a cartoony video game.

I got stuck without enough money to carry on. Pretty much gave up with it at that point. Hope everything is fixed now but have no desire to go back. Maybe in a few months…

The Xbox version is actually really good, I was surprised how good the game looked given its not a remake or a full remaster. Sure it’s very blocky but that’s expected. Getting it free with Rare Replay is just a big bonus!

Wonder how many of those tired old 'this game hasn't aged well' comments we get? Seen plenty already! Sad really as this game is still good with the right control set up. The game is 25 years old are people expecting a modern day fps or something? FML

Enjoying engage, still early on, quite nice to be thrown into battles rather than constantly running around a monastery.

I think they are gearing up for a switch 2, the lack of great first party games recently and not much on the horizon other than Zelda makes me think this.

Lots of potential in the game, I’ve enjoyed it when it’s worked BUT there are big problems here. Not just bugs but it’s as if this game wasn’t ever play tested at all by anyone, things don’t thread together in the story. You can get stuck easily at certain points one just not having enough money to buy a key item, with no way to farm more. The tennis section makes no sense where is the tour? Where do you play the lumberjack? I’m actually really annoyed that the developers put it out in this state, it’s not acceptable. Golf Story is an indie masterpiece, this could have been that but it’s a total mess.

Just locked me out at the title screen now, guess I’ll have to wait for a patch. Damn this sucks, did they not playtest it in development? Unfinished games are becoming far too commonplace in the industry, even indie games!

This game is ok I agree more sporting action would be good, this is an rpg mostly but it’s unique in that way. The bugs etc aren’t great, the studio took years to make this and it’s not exactly a graphically challenging game, so I don’t really understand it. Wish they had stuck to the golf really, tennis is not very good to play in the game not got to the other sports yet.

@VoidofLight half baked games and updates are the state of the industry, god knows how many hours a ps4 or Xbox takes to update everytime they are turned on after a couple of weeks. Hardly a Switch problem is it.

This has been the best generation for first party exclusives since the N64 imo (maybe even beats that) and that alone makes this console well worth buying. Not to mention you can play all the games in handheld.

Looks like utter tosh to me this film but each to their own! I’m sure kids will enjoy it, just think they missed a trick engaging adults from what I’ve seen in the trailer. Not sure why Miyamoto has been working so much on this, waste of good game development talent imo.

@Stocksy yes it’s amazing more games did not adopt to difficultly levels with different objectives, it was genius and made the single player so replayable. Beating the game on 007 is some achievement one I could only ever dream of!
