Not as good a game as BOTW or OOT for me. Played 120 hours but didn’t really gel with it that much. A lot of building and YouTube guides were needed to figure stuff out, not a fan of either of those things. Let’s have some proper dungeon next time

I think quality games can be made without all the expense. Look at how many instant classics came out in the N64 era. Most AAA games are a massive disappointment and rarely satisfy in actual quality gameplay. I’m not convinced gameplay is any better now than it was back then.

Two very good games, I even played a lot of the fan made campaigns on the first game. As a big advance wars fan I'm glad this exists as we sure as hell aren't getting another advance wars and this game is the best 'copy' version (especially 2) while having plenty of unique elements to it.

Lots of really good rom hacks out there already. Not sure how you would make it easy for us non programmers to make a 3D game though. Dreams was a total flop in the end

Not the surprise I think most were hoping for. TOTK was a let down to me, not because it was a bad game but it didn't feel that different to BOTW. I didn't realise that would be an issue for me but it just didn't have that WOW factor that I have come to expect from the series. I also now miss the style of dungeons from OOT, hope they add some proper ones for the next game.

Joycons aren't that comfy and I find after a while they don't slot in that well, they loosen a bit while playing which is distracting in handheld. Would prefer something more sturdy.

@rjejr lol I'll just assume you didn't play SM64 or Banjo Kazooie if you think the gameplay of PS2 Ratchet etc is better

@rjejr SM64 and Banjo Kazooie were miles ahead of any of the games you mentioned and released a generation before

Some of these have been selling for ludicrous prices on EBay so this is a decent restock!

A bit silly to have the same game in the top 3, yes it’s clearly the best final fantasy game not much doubt about that, but why not entry per game?

@DogDetective feels like Nintendo phoning it in at this point, waiting for next console.

Man this game just didn’t catch me. It was ok but I was a little disappointed. Not sure why! Breath of the Wild gave me an amazing feeling that I hadn’t felt since Ocarina of Time.

Mad to me that they don’t restock the most popular amiibo, they always sell out fast!

And yet I’m still not feeling TOTK it has its moments but I found it quite underwhelming. Still prefer BOTW by a distance.

I don’t believe anything can match the magic and charm of OOT, just everything about the game felt special.

10 for me not really sure what more you could want from a 2D platformer.

I remember when N64 games were £50 in the UK which would have been about $75 in the late 90s. Add in inflation and that’s probably closer to $200 in todays money. If you don’t want it don’t buy it but $50 for a game is fine. Also this is a great game!

These weren’t even 9/10 games when they released. Let alone now!

I've got to agree with people here, I have lost my interest in the series. Instead of pushing the boundaries Pokemon is stuck in a very uninspired spot. It's a shame as really a company this big should be pushing the limits of the Switch and making inventive RPGs that capture the imagination. Mind you maybe it's the fact I'm nearly 40 now and I've just grown out of it, doesn't sound like me but maybe...
