Not sure how they justify these prices really. Think it’s actually pretty disgraceful. Ever drives aren’t much better either it seems that people will just try to take advantage of us retro gamers and our wallets. I got an ed64 plus for about £50, that will do me, if these cables were a similar price I’m sure they would sell a lot more of them and make more money in the long run.

@nmanifold couldn't agree more, looks like a mobile game shame they didn't do more to make the art style stand out! that was of course what separated DKC from the pack!

quite interesting that the comments don't seem to favour this game in the series that highly. I agree with that and while it's a fine game it was defo a disappointment for me after OOT.

maybe it would have been better as part of a new IP as the pirate/sea faring element was interesting but didn't feel like Zelda a lot to me.

The rebel collection is great value for money.

Hard not to put advance wars number one. Just suited the system perfectly and enjoyed the battles a lot more than fire emblem for some reason.

This game gets a lot of stick. No idea why, I really enjoyed it. Also agree wish there were more games like this on switch.

I think the issue is these people who work on here aren’t journalists really. They are more bloggers or marketers. A lot of it is just copy and pasted from elsewhere. It’s nice to bring it all together on one site but Alex and co aren’t exactly out on the street getting the ‘next big Nintendo scoop’. Not a knock on them but I would be amazed if they all had journalistic credentials studying the profession to a high level. They are good at their job but the word journalist doesn’t sit right to me at least.

Bought a RetroTink 2x mini yesterday for 90 dollars (actually around £89 inc vat and postage to UK). Wonder if this will be cheap, unlikely but would be good if so!

People love to knock Goldeneye especially those who did not experience it when it came out but anyone around in that era knows what a masterpiece it was. This remake is from 2007 and looks great regardless, would buy it in a second!

F Zero is a rock hard at the higher levels. Even the N64 version. Great game series something about flying around at that speed that is so satisfying. I really don’t get why Nintendo ignore the franchise, like we can’t have more than one racer to enjoy from them, I don’t think it would stop anyone buying Mario Kart.

At least release some DLC tracks for Mario Kart if you are really not going to revive F Zero.

Fast racing RMX is great but I don’t think it’s the same thing really.

Sounds like they may have difficulty levels, which would be good for me as the first game was great but one of the bosses later on I couldn’t get past and I’m too old to spend hours trying to beat it!

it looks nice but the park seems like the things to do so far are very dull. hope there are some more exciting things to do there other than just look at nice things very slowly

Great kart racer, don’t get the hate the micro transactions are very much optional and in no way does not purchasing them make the game any worse!

Seems rather ill timed given the circumstances, why not wait until world has gone back to close to normal. Last thing I want to think about right now is how I can’t go to a place like this! Also it’s been such a bad year for Nintendo first party games why call this a direct? Just rubbing salt into the wounds?

@backup368 yeah we are actually! By the way how many games have been sold that you ever made? 7 million is hardly something to be ashamed about, for only 2 proper games, on a low selling console btw. Banjo Kazooie was the greatest 3D platformer of all time in many peoples eyes when it came out and still in many peoples top 5 today. Do us a favour, Go back to playing COD and FIFA lol and leave us alone!

@ArmenianJedi13 well it’s hugely famous within the industry but yeah 20 years since their last ‘proper’ game, so a whole generation of gamers will have missed out on the franchise.

Still the most enjoyable 3D platformer I have ever played, such great characters and you could tell that Rare had a lot of fun making it, it really showed! What a gem of a game, such a shame we never got a proper third entry, a travesty really.

if it's years away what's the point in this trailer? whole lot of nothing, just reveal it a year in advance tops.

How about just concentrating on getting a good game out day one, rather than DLC that should be included in the main game or bought out months later. I actually think this will put some people off, knowing that the game they buy will be far from complete!

@GrandScribe disagree with this, the fact it is handheld at a decent enough spec is what has driven sales. infact there is no reason for Nintendo to move to Switch 2 anytime soon as sales are increasing later in the consoles life. Whoever came up with the idea has done incredibly well, it wasn't long ago I was watching Youtube videos announcing the death of Nintendo as a hardware manufacturer and saying they should just release games on PS4!

You can see why Metroid doesn’t sell well with some of the comments in here already. I would jump at the chance to play this on switch

It is a bit blurry in handheld and I only play that way, but I love JP and like Sim games so so far this has been heaven for me. Huge amount of content too!

@Astro76 don’t really see why any fan of gaming wouldn’t be a Nintendo fan since they have released many all time classics. The same way I am a fan of all good games developers. This is clearly inspired by BOTW but it doesn’t matter, it is different enough and looks fantastic.

it does need to improve but the comparisons to BOTW and people almost expecting it to be BOTW 1.5 are ridiculous. it's Hyrule Warriors 2 and should be compared to the first HW game not BOTW.
