Re: Review: AVICII Invector Encore Edition - A Fitting Tribute To A Much-Missed Musical Talent

i don't get all the hype with this guy at all, he was a fairly standard fairly famous (but hardly cultural icon status) pop star and of course it is terribly sad when any one dies but i can't help thinking this is all a little over the top. Is he really much missed by many people outside his friends and family? Or is it just people saying what they think they should? Again terrible when anyone dies but I don't remember him being that big of an influence on people's lives while alive bar a few ok pop songs. Maybe it has all gone over my head and he was a modern day Elvis or something!

Guys we are all just imagining the drift, trick of the eye or something when our characters start wandering around on their own in game.

Bought two Switches at launch, may just be an early model issue but both left joy cons were quickly replaced with the Hori D-Pad ones and not had any issues since

Love their brands as much as the next fanboy but let's not pretend Nintendo gives and F about us, it's all dollaz.

Banjo-Kazooie will always hold a special place in my heart. What a phenomenal 3D platformer that was. Up there with Legend of Zelda as my favourite gaming series and that says a lot!

Also enjoy DK64 a lot even though it gets a lot of stick.

Goldeneye was just class, really captured the feeling of the franchise like nobody expected.

Really loved Rare as a company they had some great personalities working for them and their charm really comes across in interviews. Reading about them in gaming mags was such a pleasure and it was so sad when Microsoft bought Rare, always felt like the wrong move for the company (although I guess not for the owners as they got a massive payday!)

Sad to see what Rare has become, I think they would have made some great games on the GameCube, Donkey Kong Racing looked like it had so much potential and imagine a proper Banjo Threeie!
