In this instance surely all Nintendo is doing is helping Ebay prices go up?! Just don’t see how they gain from this and it must cost them to do it. I have really enjoyed reading old N64 and NGC mags in recent years.

@StarPoint i tend to agree not sure how this helps Ukraine. It’s just a game, a bit of fun for those who buy it. It’s a cartoon style too. Think most people are sensible enough to realise that.

Surprised at the criticism of this, I for one would love their SNES games to get the HD2D make over, why not? Octopath is a stunning game and it would suit all of those classic SNES games perfectly.

Just hope you get what you ordered, tried to return an item with them recently that was the wrong one and it was like pulling teeth!

Didn’t know this was coming to switch! I think it’s the best sports game series out there, and I’m not even that into baseball. Nice one!

I reckon a fantasy life sequel on the switch would have been an absolute mega hit for them. Shame they gave up on us!

All switch ports should go through Sabre Interactive and Nightdive studios. Shows good ports can be fine and I’m seriously sick of people moaning about the switch capabilities, it’s lazy development as well most of the time.

People like to knock The Outer Worlds but it is one of my favourite games on the switch. To me it seems to play well but what do I know I’m a 90’s gamer who still love me Banjo And OOT. I get it when a game is broken and bugs galore like the new GTA trilogy but I think some people just hate on not perfect performance even if it doesn’t really effect gameplay or enjoyment. It’s like the ‘in’ thing to do these days especially specifically at the Switch games.

imagine if they put this effort into some MK8 DLC or MK9 instead!

First game is underrated, it's not amazing but it's enjoyable enough. Hopefully they have taken the feedback from the backlash and will make it a worthy spiritual BK successor.

Unfortunately at the time from a business perspective purple probably wasn’t the best colour to choose. People thought of it as ‘girly’ which of course is sexist BS but the world was a lot worse in that way back then, girl gamers were very rare and the market was basically only trying to appeal to young boys/men.

It’s an ok franchise but so overrated

@Mountain_Man yes, I’m not bothered about Star Wars but this game is fantastic.

I'm playing Vice City and not run into any issues, sure the graphics are cartoon like but that doesn't really bother me. I think part of the issue for a lot of people will be that GTA on the whole is not as amazing as people like to make out. Sure bashing cars and running over people is a good novelty for a while but the core gameplay is quite repetitive, 'Go here, kill them, come back for another similar quest.'

How can they stop reviews once the game is already out? Seems weird

@thiz you do wonder why they didn’t remaster oblivion instead. They literally just make a remaster for Skyrim a couple of years ago!

The fact Ocarina of Time isn’t on this list tells a story in itself, why do they bother with nonsense like this? So subjective.

Think some people on here need genuine help. If you think the PS2 versions look better or it will be a better game to play on iPhone, check in to your local doctors for an evaluation.

It’s a great system with an outstanding library of games. People complain about ports but to me it’s just more games on a system I use handheld and that’s a good thing.

I know Skyward Sword will get defended to the nth degree here but it’s not a great game and it hasn’t aged particularly well either. I think most people realise that and it’s also why the series got a massive revamp in direction in Breath of the Wild. SS is not a bad game but it’s pretty average and I’m surprised it has sold so well.

can't wait to play the GTA trilogy! not played them and think having them portable will make all the difference for me.

KOTOR will be good to play too, not sure I love the combat but I'll give it a try.

SMTV will be good to play too, enjoyed SMT3 but like most JRPGs I stopped playing after about 20 hours.

@jancotianno perhaps the most dumb comment I’ve seen recently. So gameplay is a 10/10 but you can’t give it a 10? Surely that’s what matter most! You must hate the indie scene, shame as you will miss out on a lot of great games with such backward thinking.

Those with any sense from the era know it was an instant classic.

If it's as precise as the original and someone gets it working on original hardware I will snap one of these up! Nothing feels anywhere near as good when playing N64 games, so it will be interesting to see if they do replicate it properly.

What a game this is, I play the mods people make and love those too. I think if you did not experience it at the time you may not 'get it' but it's a truly great 3D platformer that stayed in the memory of many gamers for nearly 25 years.

Those glory days at Rare were amazing, maybe Microsoft could allow them to do Donkey Kong Racing finally for us!

To go off piste let’s have that Donkey Kong racing game that was shown in the GameCube era now!
