Re: The Game Awards 2024: Date, Time - How And When To Watch

"Your Local Time: " What a technical flex, kudos to the page devs.
EDIT:
Except: "Your Local Time: 2am, Thu 12th Dec 2024 hora estándar de Europa central" has a little problem, in Europe it should say "Fri 13th". So it's not working so well for me in Spain.

Re: Random: 'Nintendo Music' Is Seemingly Being Advertised On Spotify

inenai

This move was simply an attempt at keeping people subscribed to NSO (like the early access to Alarmo) at a time when they have nothing new to offer, and 0 intention of giving good service. They could give good service by offering their music via pre-existing streaming services. Having to swap apps to listen to different music and at the same time having to pay two separate subscriptions for it is just less convenient.

Re: Sonic X Shadow Generations Physical Pre-Orders Come With Reversible Sleeves

inenai

[Everyone liked that]

Already preordered my Steam key, but as a diehard Sonic (and Shadow!!!) fan (and a "Sonic and Shadow" fan as well if you catch my drift) I might pre-order a physical edition too to support the franchise and these amazing gestures.

EDIT: Yeah I just pre-purchased ps4 physical, those animations and Gerald's journal???? Maaaaan

Re: Random: Welp, Now Nintendo's Going After Sheet Music

inenai

I don't get it- having people interact with your IPs by generating content around it is positive advertising, while Nintendo being stingy and going after these things makes for negative advertising for them... but then again, is them being so different from how other companies operate that results in the products they create, so I guess we just have to take it. And they probably know this.

Re: Oops! The New Persona Game Accidentally Got Released Early

inenai

I once released a (mobile) game early by accident too, luckily it was only in two countries. Someone left me in charge of updating the build in two countries which had early beta access and didn't properly explain the process to me so I actually released it in those two countries... lol, we are all juniors at some point in our lives. Now it's just a happy anecdote xD

Re: Splatoon 3 Version 5.0.0 Is Now Live, Here Are The Full Patch Notes

inenai

I think I only played the first Season and a bit of the second. After having played Splatoon on WiiU and Splatoon 2 I got tired eventually (and I mean physically, on my neck and back. I'm not as young anymore). I do want to play the single player DLC whenever that comes out though... Any news on that will be amazing.

Re: My Time At Sandrock Has Been Delayed Into November

inenai

I played all the available content and after 100+ hs I still play it, it's one of the best games I played in the last couple years. I hope they take all the time they need to deliver the best game possible.
Just a side note: I am playing the Steam version on PC.

Re: Round Up: The Reviews Are In For Sonic Prime

inenai

@TheMisterManGuy By punching first and talking later? What is Shadow's objective exactly, then? If he wanted Sonic to listen to him, why hit him first thing? Wouldn't that make things just more complicated for him? I think he should be smarter than that. As I see it, it was just an excuse to have them battle on screen. Which was cool, not gonna lie, just... felt unnecessary or at the very least exaggerated to me at that point, plot-wise.

Re: Round Up: The Reviews Are In For Sonic Prime

inenai

Here's my review, as a looooooong time fan of the franchise (ever since 1992).

The animations (especially facial expressions) get significantly better from episode 5 onwards. The direction could be better, some camera decisions and the overall pacing are weird at times. The models, character design, textures and lighting are excellent. The concept is interesting and fun. The script is not really deep, but it's entertaining enough.

And Shadow... Shadow is still a perma-angry unjustified jerk who punches first and talks later, which is a total disappointment, but SEGA gonna SEGA I guess.

7/10

Re: Random: Player Discovers Easy Way To Get 1000 Steps In Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

inenai

This is a clear sign that the mechanic of having to "walk" a pokemon to evolve it is a bad one, it only works with the one or two people that discover it by accident and then that's it, it's become a chore for everyone else because the "surprise" (of being friendly to your pokemon ending in it evolving, just cause you spent time with it expecting nothing in return) is ruined.
