Such a good ideaaaa! If it only consists of changing the assets (collectibles, character and music) of the stages, I hope they include many more SEGA characters!
Oh, you -can- ride it. You just have to figure out how to make it go really fast while you're on top of it. It just gets creativity and a poor sense of self-protection.
FINALLY! This is the first GOOD statue I see of Twilight Princess' Link. He always looks kind of like an alien for whatever reason, the one featured in this article is GREAT.
Majora's Mask remake made it replayable for me. I wouldn't have re-played it with all the masks without the changes.
Skyward sword- Still playing it, but I'd say it's still so unstable- boring and tedious at times, fun and amazing at times. Remake didn't do it for me, despite the quality of life additions.
The other games I feel didn't change as much, and they were pretty good to begin with- so not many comments there.
I kinda like it. I like when companies try to freshen themselves up and try new ways of promoting stuff. Especially when leaning towards being less formal. It connects better with people.
I'm honestly relieved! Based on the leaks the game was kind of needing some extra year or two to actually be fun... I will always choose to wait over a mediocre game!
@NEStalgia I must say I sincerely applaud your commitment to your reply. I get what you meant now, yes, new textures instead of upscaled ones would do the idea better justice.
Reading all the comments I'm starting to believe that the drifting joycon is actually not ONE problem, but many with similar symptoms. What works for some doesn't work for everyone. Some people claim dirty contacts, other worn-out parts, maybe it's all of it. Maybe the joycons are just delicate like that.
I still cannot believe Nintendo can't sell the Skyward Sword remake under 60 usd, seeing how Sega does this for 40. Nintendo might have won the battle back then, and I've been a die-hard fan all this time, but they are slowly becoming something I hate with all their over-priced products and anti-fan practices.
@SeaFishelle You're right, I didn't remember the developer's name. Let's leave Chucklefish aside.
Still, know all you're all saying about inspiration. There are a lot of games out there insipired on Zelda so clearly that it's obvious, but they also try to be their own thing. In this case in particular I don't see that. Having played SV a lot, this looks way too much like it. It's my personal opinion. Sorry, but it won't change just because you or @Jey887 don't agree with me. Let's all agree to disagree.
@Jey887 I know the difference, but in this case the similarities are just a bit too much in my opinion. The ore stones, the pine trees, the animals, the crops, the whole UI... it all looks WAY too similar to Stardew Valley to me. Even the music uses similar instruments and is composed similarly. The grass, the caves where you mine in... all the assets look almost the same.
I cannot stop playing this game. Once you stop to observe, and listen, to the bosses' attacks, the game becomes easier and enjoyable- it is nothing like a bullet hell when you understand the logic and the rhythm behind it all. But it doens't get easy enough that you don't have a challenge ahead of you- perfect parry mode is nuts! I'm a huge fan of this world, these characters and the aesthetics and the MUSIC!! And I sincerely hope we'll see more from this franchise!
I haven't yet played the first one but it seems to me, from what I've seen at least, that even if it's still heavily inspired on the Zelda series, this new game looks more like its own thing. The technology, the gun (!), the design of the map, the enemies' HP bar, even the hearts' design... it's got a lot of original aspects to it that make me think of a new universe, separated from Zelda's. I will definitely check this one out.
Worth mentioning: K.K. Slide is called Totakeke in Spanish simply because K.K. is pronounced the same way as sh*t in Spanish and that would be hilarious but very inappropriate... Also it's ironic how I like Luna better than Alakama precisely because of the fact that it sounds too blatantly like "a la cama" and it's ...weird.
@KarmaGoona Not if the fragments in trees (or any other item grown in trees this way to that matter) were just fake/decorative. You could make them shatter when shaking the tree or simply make new items that looked like others but are I dunno, fruits, or just lesser versions of the original items. They could get creative.
@ryancraddock Look, I'll try to clarify. I am a Spanish speaker and taking context into consideration this is exactly what transpired: Navarro is talking about how he wanted as little context as possible when dubbing a series he liked, so as not to be spoiled, because looking at the original actor's expressions was enough context for him to do a good job. He then continues to try and compare this experience with the one working with Zelda. He begins a sentence about how the experience was with dubbing BOTW's "first part", he says he's about to state a complaint actually (most probably about the little context Nintendo provided for the dubbing of Revali's lines), but interrupts himself saying that "for the second part, instead..." as if to say, Nintendo probably gave them better context for the sequel, this time around. Yet again he interrupts himself when he realizes he's just admitted having worked in the sequel, and the "joking" starts about not remembering anything. He even compares the situation to being in a trial, where you have to say "you don't remember anything" to cover something you did. Then when the joking ends, he continues to talk about the context Nintendo gave them to do their job, specifying "for the first part" (the first game). They (Revali's and Zelda's VAs) both spoke in past perfect. Up to this point, the sequel had never even been mentioned during the interview, so there was no way, at that point, that this had been a 'recurrent joke during the interview'. The joking started at this point.
These are all facts that any Spanish speaker will be able to verify if they listen to the whole thing.
Personally, I believe Revali's voice appears in the second game and dubbing work has been done, it is not specified if fully or partially. And also, Nintendo made their work easier this time around, lol.
¿Vale? No voy a mentir (risas)".
Which would translate to, by me: "With Zelda there was little information and this thing happened when like, a small comment or complaint, with the second part... which I cannot say whether we have dubbed or not", to which Nerea quickly responds with "No, it's unkown, it's unknown. Look, even if we have dubbed it of if we haven't dubbed it, nothing can be said about it." Navarro quickly corrects: "Okay, I don't remember dubbing it or not, this second part. Okay? I'm not going to lie (laughs)."
@smashboy2000 "they needed to build the game to see if it works before recording the voices" ...why this though? You definitely DON'T need a build of the code in order to record the lines. Usually animations are made to match the voice lines after they've been recorded, and even if they did the other way around (which would be weird) then you'd only need the cutscenes with the animations running, I don't see how they'd need for a full game build for that.
The diving and seafood catching had already been predicted so it wasn't a big surprise for me at least. Interested in the new Gulliver getup, what will that be? It's nice to see the mermaid set return!
Also I'm getting the update in my winter time so... it'll be weird, but I guess it's better than being forced to play in summer time when I'm freezing irl.
But it only has ver 130K dislikes...?
EDIT: People are reporting that dislikes are disappearing. Probably due to many of them being made by bots and then removed by Youtube.
