I quite liked the mini-games in Princess Peach: Showtime! and Iāve played Poochy And Yoshiās Woolly World which was legendary. SO good. Also Kirbyās Extra Epic Yarn is excellent.
Iāve been skateboarding for forty one years and I can confirm these Pro Skater games are excellent. I get really into them and it feels like Iām actually skating.
Also I still remember the video introduction that plays at the beginning of Pro Skater 4. SO many good tricks playing to the rocking track T.N.T. by AC/DC.
I gave Super Mario Bros. 1 a quick blast through on the SNES All Stars on Nintendo Switch Online. The physics are a little different to the NES version and itās nice to play the old faithful with updated graphics.
Pro Skater 1 and 2 were really good re-releases and 2 is supposed to be the series best but Iām waiting for 4 as thatās the one I actually owned and played on GameCube.
Iām a bit short on time this weekend so I just dipped for a few minutes into Debris Infinity the excellent twin stick shooter in the style of Asteroids and Geometry Wars. A great time was had as always.
And I gave Tobla - Divine Path a half hour and got past the level Iāve been stuck on for two weeks. That felt good.
@bimmy-lee Hiya. šš Now Iāve had time to think about it I think Gen X shooter sounds really awesome. But I totally understand why the article used boomer shooters.
Yeah. Iāve just discovered this game and I love it. Itās just been added to Nintendo Switch Online and Iām having a great time. Itās not always easy though.
Iām still playing Wind Waker on the GameCube and having a wonderful time. Iām not giving myself any spoilers and Iām aiming to know the game inside out for what I hope is the year Nintendo put it on Switch later this year.
OhmyGod itās happened! And thank goodness itās called Switch 2 and not something more complicated. I love the reveal and the console. It looks like theyāve got everything right.
Yeah I thought this when I read it too. If I have to guess it means they saw all the reviews that came in from all reviewers and that average rating evened out the 4/10 a bit and raised it.
@larryisaman It really hurt me when the 3DS shop shut down. I still miss the game I wasnāt able to buy (Dillonās Rolling Western) as it never got a physical release.
I might be the perfect example of why N.S.O. is a thing. I would just buy Super Mario Bros. 1 and Super Mario Land and then leave.
This way they know my money is coming in every month and for me I can choose a few minutes in games I wouldnāt buy, games like Super Mario Bros. 3 or Super Mario World.
Also I thought Metroid 1 was quite bad but thought the Game Boy Advance version was amazing as it made things more clear.
These are great gaming memories I wouldnāt have had without Nintendo Switch Online.
I see your view too though. I love my 2DS Virtual Console games.
@Calomy ā . . . they can keep the switch online shop for a long time, without having to close it down like they did the Wii, Dsi, Wii U, and 3DS Online shops........... ā
Thatās a good point. This could actually be good for video game preservation.
I know Nintendo Switch Online has a bad reputation with some people but I like it.
For one it shows shareholders a flow of income coming in every month.
For another I would never have bought and played all those NES, SNES and Game Boy games but because they were all included I had a little go on them and found some gems.

Re: Nintendo's Palworld Lawsuit Might Go International As New Patents Land U.S. Approval
Maybe itās a shame something couldnāt have been worked out in this case. A lot of professional gamers have said that Palworld is the game they wanted The PokĆ©mon Company to make.

Re: Rumour: Placeholder Retail Listing Suggests Switch 2 Price Might Be Cheaper Than Expected
Woah. Thatās coming out as Ā£282.15 today in GBP.
This price for Switch 2 is unlikely but possible. (Apple only add $100 when there is a bigger screen but all internals are the same.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (8th February)
Iām playing Tobla Divine Path. Itās a pretty sweet first person 3D puzzler.

Re: Review: Turbo Overkill (Switch) - Ridiculous, Relentless Boomer Shooter Gets A Solid Port
@bimmy-lee I mean youāre right. True Baby Boomers were born in or around 1945 when everybody started families after World War 2.
I like āDoom-Likeā but I must admit Boomer Shooter sounds awesome and it is describing me gaming in the 1990ās.
Re: Here Are The Top Ten Best-Selling Nintendo Switch Games As Of December 2024

Re: Feature: Switch 2's Mouse Support Is Exciting, But Which Current Games Might Also Benefit?
I am imagining any 3D first or third person shooter would be awesome with a mouse.
The Quake developers already know this and support mouse and keyboard on Quake 1 and probably 2 and 3 as well.

@jake1421 Majoraās Mask as a side quest. Funny. I see what you did there. š

Re: Talking Point: Everyone Else Is Busy Revealing Switch 2 - What Gives, Nintendo?
Good Lord. With detailed video like this maybe Nintendo should have announced it by now.
Clever move though. Lots of lovely free publicity.
