I quite liked the mini-games in Princess Peach: Showtime! and I’ve played Poochy And Yoshi’s Woolly World which was legendary. SO good. Also Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn is excellent.

I’ve been skateboarding for forty one years and I can confirm these Pro Skater games are excellent. I get really into them and it feels like I’m actually skating.

Also I still remember the video introduction that plays at the beginning of Pro Skater 4. SO many good tricks playing to the rocking track T.N.T. by AC/DC.

I gave Super Mario Bros. 1 a quick blast through on the SNES All Stars on Nintendo Switch Online. The physics are a little different to the NES version and it’s nice to play the old faithful with updated graphics.

It looks like the graphics might be good. I do encourage free game demos so people can try before they buy.

@Olliemar28 Yeah. My best guess is 3 and 4 remastered.

Pro Skater 1 and 2 were really good re-releases and 2 is supposed to be the series best but I’m waiting for 4 as that’s the one I actually owned and played on GameCube.

I’m a bit short on time this weekend so I just dipped for a few minutes into Debris Infinity the excellent twin stick shooter in the style of Asteroids and Geometry Wars. A great time was had as always.

And I gave Tobla - Divine Path a half hour and got past the level I’ve been stuck on for two weeks. That felt good.

Maybe it’s a shame something couldn’t have been worked out in this case. A lot of professional gamers have said that Palworld is the game they wanted The Pokémon Company to make.

@bimmy-lee I mean you’re right. True Baby Boomers were born in or around 1945 when everybody started families after World War 2.

I like ‘Doom-Like’ but I must admit Boomer Shooter sounds awesome and it is describing me gaming in the 1990’s.

I’ve played a lot of U Deluxe. I like it a lot. I’m about two thirds towards 100%.

I’m so happy there is a 2D game on this list.

The Doom I played most was Doom 64 but this DOOM + II is also excellent.

Having a great time playing Sutte Hakkun on the Nintendo Switch Online SNES app.

Yeah. I’ve just discovered this game and I love it. It’s just been added to Nintendo Switch Online and I’m having a great time. It’s not always easy though.

I’ll play all three. I’m always on the lookout for the next hidden gem.

Edit: Sutte Hakkun is amazing. I love the gameplay. I’ve not played a game like it before.

I am imagining any 3D first or third person shooter would be awesome with a mouse.

The Quake developers already know this and support mouse and keyboard on Quake 1 and probably 2 and 3 as well.

I’m still playing Wind Waker on the GameCube and having a wonderful time. I’m not giving myself any spoilers and I’m aiming to know the game inside out for what I hope is the year Nintendo put it on Switch later this year.

OhmyGod it’s happened! And thank goodness it’s called Switch 2 and not something more complicated. I love the reveal and the console. It looks like they’ve got everything right.

Yeah I thought this when I read it too. If I have to guess it means they saw all the reviews that came in from all reviewers and that average rating evened out the 4/10 a bit and raised it.

Oh thank God. This is the game I bought on GameCube with my Christmas money and I’m having a great time. Amazing game and the music is fantastic.

@8bit-Man Old iOS games. Great point. I loved the physics of a game called Bike Mania and I can’t play it any more.

@larryisaman It really hurt me when the 3DS shop shut down. I still miss the game I wasn’t able to buy (Dillon’s Rolling Western) as it never got a physical release.

I might be the perfect example of why N.S.O. is a thing. I would just buy Super Mario Bros. 1 and Super Mario Land and then leave.

This way they know my money is coming in every month and for me I can choose a few minutes in games I wouldn’t buy, games like Super Mario Bros. 3 or Super Mario World.

Also I thought Metroid 1 was quite bad but thought the Game Boy Advance version was amazing as it made things more clear.

These are great gaming memories I wouldn’t have had without Nintendo Switch Online.

I see your view too though. I love my 2DS Virtual Console games.

That’s a good point. This could actually be good for video game preservation.

I know Nintendo Switch Online has a bad reputation with some people but I like it.

For one it shows shareholders a flow of income coming in every month.

For another I would never have bought and played all those NES, SNES and Game Boy games but because they were all included I had a little go on them and found some gems.

Awww that’s a shame. That kind of sucks cancelling the orders after people have been this patient for this long.

They could have made a big thing about honouring orders after so long.

Great game. We have a light gun version in the local arcade and I love it. Can’t wait to play this.

@msvt Yeah. I’ve been noticing this year more and more games have text designed for massive TVs but unreadable handheld.

@SearchingS That was my first Mario and I still love it. I would play a remake for sure.
